fun place to visit, plus point for the waiter not bothering you every 5 minutes to ask if you are still ok, always fun when you can simply enjoy your food, speaking of the food, ordered a simple burger and chips, fun fact they ask you how you want your burger done, I asked for a well done, my friend that joined me asked for a medium tor rare along with a amaricano coffee, coffee was great and strong with a smooth taste, burgers arrived a few minutes later, my side the burger was perfectly well done, meaty crispy crust with a onion and feta topping on a bed of well prepared mushrooms, my friend has his medium to rare burger and the toppings where the same though when he sliced his burger the patty was in fact medium to rare with red meat visible but no dripping blood, both burgers where prepared to perfection as well to spec with what we asked for, the taste was also very pleasing, the crispy crust on the patty still had the taste of the grilling process giving it a lovely after taste, the mushrooms where not over powering the meat nor did the onions or feta over power the crispy goodness of the patty, each bite was as good as the first bite giving it a pleasant and consistent taste, a well balanced burger that is definitely worth the money, the biggest let down was the chips that arrived with the burger, you have that perfect burger prepared to spec and you finish it off with chips that do not complement the burger at all, they felt a lot like over bake chips with a bit more spice, crispy all over as well though not at all complementing to the burger itself, wish they instead had a potato wedges option or something, overall though the meal in it's entirety was well worth the money spent and definitely would recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good burger, side note, burger might be a bit hard to handle with both hands, good problem to have though since its a 200g patty

Definitely one of my favorite places. They are very busy so make sure to book. Even with them being so busy rhe experience was great. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. They offer tastings as well in the lounge (gin, whiskey or wine) only from 09:00 to 17:00.There is also great play area for kids.

Had an awesome lamb shank with creamy mash and veg. Brilliant for a cold stormy day. Went just outside lunch peak so was quiet.

What an amazing experience. Decor outstanding! We were well received at Reception. Food was OUTSTANDING! Compliments to the Chef. Drinks was also AMAZING! Kids was well entertained with play area, very spacious, neat and well kept. Our waiter Corné was great. Will highly recommend Salt and Copper. Definitely the place to be.

A lovely family oriented restaurant and cocktail lounge. The cocktail menu was outstanding, and they made a truly special mojito. Bronwyn, our waiter was on his toes, serving us and multiple tables. The Springbok Carpaccio I ordered was sublime. This is a great spot for children, with a lovely child friendly menu and other activities such as a play gym for the children. I, without a doubt, recommend trying one of their cocktails, paired with one of their sumptuous burgers or pizzas.

Very nice. Very popular. Service was fast and friendly. Situated in a large shed next to the N2 highway as you enter Hartenbos from the George side. Food was great. There is also a large play area and lawn for the kids with a seperate play camp for toddlers. Next door is a farmer's market on Saturdays. There is also a farm stall and nursery on the premises.

Quick stop during a busy day. From the welcoming at the door to the perfect seating for our new mom and baby. Cappuccinos made with Brothers Coffee beans where so delicious. Outdoor area for kids is such a big bonus-keeping the little ones busy while mom and dad have a bite to eat- all within view of the parents. Leo our waiter was friendly and his recommendations was good
