The representative came out to see us. That was last Monday I forget the date. Sorry it was the 17th of April. I'm still waiting for the quotation that he promised to send via email. We have already had drain surgeon guys in to do the leak detection. The chaps name that came out was Ian. You did a wonderful job reasonable quotation. So in essence would I recommend Shaun Karp leak detectors. Short and sweet absolutely not. Would be interested to know why the quote wasn't sent through. If there was a no star indicator I would have tapped on that.

Used them to detect leak, to which they say was in the toilet. Called in a trustable and reliant plumber that I've been using to repair the leak as investigated by Shaun , but tothe plumber he found no leak in the toilet. This was just a ploy to say there was a leak.Shaun threatened to blacklist me should I not pay. Please do not use them. Had to pay for plumber call out, and incl Shaun. Now I've called in alternative leak detectors to assist.

The guy came for 5 minutes and and promised the leak was in the most inaccessible spot. Charged R1750. I repeatedly asked him if he was certain as I was not convinced. He promised it was there. Asked if he should send someone to repair the next day for about R8000. Dug the spot only to find no leak. I think they the biggest cons only out for a buck. Would advise anyone to stay away!!!!

I did not have a good experience with Shaun Karp. My pool is losing water until below the weir and Shaun made checks and could not find the problem. He then proceeded to invoice and insisted I pay for full service on checks, not just call out, threatening blacklisting given my initial resistance. I paid him, reluctantly. I am now calling out a different service provider for the same diagnostic job.
