Goodness... What a surprise! We were looking for a day-getaway, but we can't wait to book a longer stay! Super sweet and supporting staff. Excellent food, amazing views along the Vaal River, and far enough out of town to clear your head and relax. Can't wait to go back!

If you need a break away from the city with tranquil bush views and the calming flow of the river at your doorstep. Service is A++ friendly and helpfull staff. Theres a shop and restauraunt with wood, ice drinks etc, no need to go to town. Thanks again The Dell for an excellent week of recharge!!

What an excellent experience!! Incredible service. Thanks so much for adding to the success of my son’s 14th fishing birthday party. Not even sorting out our forgotten tent pen issue was too much for the team to sort out. Thanks again!!

A very family friendly venue... the boys explored and fished and played cricket on the open spaces. The house was well equipped and comfortable. One of those: we will come back again kind of places.

When we first drove in by The Dell it didn’t look like much but I would definitely go back here. (We only went to the restaurant and on a game drive. We didn’t stay here)The food is absolutely amazing and the people there are very friendly.We went on their game drive as well which was R200 pp and the experience was great! Beautiful views on the drive and a very friendly game driver. 100% recommend.

We stayed in the Eland chalet. Beautiful, clean and modern. Fully serviced and lovely view of river. Will definately visit again!

Thanks to Vicky and Eugene, we had a lovely stay in the Likkewaan Chalet- beautiful and very clean! The braai on the stoep overlooking the river, was my favourite spot! My son had a great fishing trip. This is a great, around the corner for Johannesburg, break away weekend spot!

My husband and myself visit the Dell at least twice every year. What a great experience we are never disappointed. Owners and staff are absolutely great people. Neat and clean premises. The fishing is absolutely awesome my husband always leaves the Dell as a happy fisherman. Thanks Eugene and Vicky for always making our stay memorable.
