Honestly not surprised to see all these low reviews they deserve it.I would not recommend them to anyone.The truth shall surface, i know what happened at Green park complex and you do too.

They take your deposit and ignore you once you leave and never repay your deposit. Agents blames Landlord but you sign with agent.

Responded to Home Town Properties advertisement on the 17th March'18 - I had sourced this area and complex for a while. Application documents were efficiently sent on the 19th of March. We still all had a 'giggle' after a misunderstanding via text messaging with their stringent tenant screening policies. Viewed the property and similar in the same week with Mathew Tarrys' team. He personally stayed in contact on comms between myself and the current tenants - completed all the necessary for occupation and moved in less than a month later on the 10th of April '18. Had the pleasure of meeting Mathew at the inspection on the day and handing over the keys. Felt right at home! Followed up after if I'd had a safe and happy relocation. Thank you kindly to Mathew and team!!

DO NOT USE HOME TOWN PROPERTIES. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.Drienie Field (one of their agents) knowingly scammed me out of my Rental Deposit to make more commission, by lying to the Landlord (telling them I broke my lease, when I didn't). She's since been dodging all communication and worst of all no one in this corrupt company is doing anything about it or even bothering to contact me. Even after I presented all the evidence of the scam.If I scammed a client my company would fire me immediately and apologise to the client and reimburse them. But obviously for Home Town Properties this is normal business practice to scam their clients.As far as I'm concerned Home Town Properties are thieves, and Drienie Field is a literal criminal scam artist. Her and the company knowingly scam their tenants.They're total scum bags.

Hometown Properties is very unprofessional, they lie and give false information. Never believe them when you are viewing a place. Rather contact the landlord instead of the agency. They lie about how much you pay a month and they lie about your move in date! I had packed all my belongings in boxes and the day before we were suppose to move they told me that we were only moving in the following week.

We dealt with Michelle Smith at Hometown Properties when we rented a furnished apartment for someone. And despite the contract stating that they will repay our deposits within 14 days inclusive of interest, we are still battling to get our deposits back 5 weeks later. The apartment we rented was not in good condition when the tenant moved in. Beware that you don't fall into the same trap: they give you an inventory list to t check and sign when you move in, but then it seems they plainly ignore your complaints - neither do they counter sign the completed checklist. We were careful to note all the deficiencies and comments about the filthy state of the apartment on that same slip. But upon moving out, they want to claim we left the apartment filthy & want to use that as a reason to deduct from our deposits that we paid. When we call Michelle on that she gets offended. Their contract does not state who the company belongs to, but I hope that that whoever is the owner of Hometown Properties, takes notice of this complaint. Michelle just withdraws when you put the facts and the evidence to her. ..... It is now a month and a half later... today we received a portion of the refund back...The contract proudly states hat you will get your refund back with interest... no chance. ... and they have deducted for costs that we should not have been penalized for. ... I am still trying to get the rightful amount back ... If you intend to deal with HomeTownProperties... tread lightly because you have been warned.

They fabricate your lease you sign to catch you. They take your deposit and when you leave they say they place is is bad condition when in fact the reason for leaving is that they fix nothing in the place. Devious estate agents.
