Absolutely a fantastic place today stay. Such a pretty setting in the mountains. Accomodation and camping. Guest farm with friendly couple running it.

Ragelsrivier Guest Farm Is definitely my favourite destination for a weekend getaway with the family. Over the years we visited Ragelsrivier Guest farm several times. The first thing that catch my eye is this incredible funny road signs as we approach the farm. The further you go from civilisation, the more breathtaking the surrounding become. Seeing the open space and the untouched Natural surroundings it’s absolutely breathtaking. When we arrive on the farm , the hospitality of the Botha Couple always welcome you in such extent that you get this “this is where I belong” feeling.The Kliphuis take me aways back in time. First it always seems so quiet and as I let the rat- race leave my body and mind and open my senses, the surrounding open up to me and that is the time I start noticing all the wildlife.The Kliphuis have everything I need to get away from all the normal life stress. The easy to use kitchen have everything that I need. It is also located in the one corner of the living room so I can be part of the family while preparing food. The bathroom is my favorite. It is beautiful decorated with copper pipes.There are so many things to do. My daughter love it to join in the farm day-to-day life like working with the sheep and feeding the chickens. My son enjoy riding his bicycle and “discover” new trails.My husband enjoy taking a book.I will highly recommend Ragelsrivier Guest Farm to anyone that needs a break.

An absolute gem for an off-grid family breakaway! With the most beautiful drive through the Langkloof to our campsite, Bokmakierie, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Ragels Rivier. From walking, cycling, swimming to learning about nature, our boys (3 & 5) were captivated by this special place.Bokmakierie has a rustic and basic setup but beautifully done cooking and ablution facilities. Lots of shade, it has a stunning setting under cliffs of the Neuge valley and overlooking a dry river bed. The owners Eric and Leigh-Ann could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Couldn't recommend Ragels Rivier more for a remote, camping getaway.

Truly a well equipped campsite, Clean, Flush toilet and a beautiful shower with warm water.The scenic route to the farm and friendly reception.Nature is your surroundings. Will most definitely visit again.

It wasnt what we expected, especially for the price charged - maybe our fault, but no gorgeous pools near cottage. Beautiful mountainous area tho. Directly opposite owner/managers house who had a young baby that niggled a lot which stopped us enjoying sitting on front stoep. We had to keep the door closed to stop their dogs coming inside all the time. No, one comes to a place like that for peace + quiet + at R1000 p/nite we expected more + weren't so happy
