Menlo Park Post Office

Bad service. The post office closes at 1pm on a Saturday, but the license renewals decides they close at 12pm without any shown notice of their times. Apparently it is the service times of the licensing 3rd party, but this still reflects badly on the PO!

My husband was in the queue for 1hr and 45 minutes to renew two vehicle licences. After waiting for such an amount of time, the post office staff announced that they ran out of paper and could not assist anyone.So what will happen when we go there again on Monday? There was another gentleman who recorded the event. If I am going to pay penaulties because of THEIR LACK OF SUPPLIES, I will simply refuse and stand my ground, even if I have to revert to another level.THIS LACK OF SERVICE IS NAUSEATING.

If i could give NO stars I would. Pathetic service. Do not attempt to go get you car license renewed here, 45 min before the next loadshedding schedule. They switch the machine off and do not communicate!!!! And remember your own forms and a copy of your ID!!!! They do not have paper to print or make copies. No waiting line, but dont dare to get there before or in loadshedding.

I wish there was a zero went there 3 times in oneday and no service- wasted my time, petrol and energy. Than they just sit on their cellphones and not even look at you when talking-worst Post office EVER!!

License disk renewal is a pleasure. Mary Mlambo is super friendly and helpful, Menlo Park Post Office should be proud to have her. I have renewed here for years.

Must be the absolute worst service I have ever received at the licensing desk. I can understand why they are going under.I then to Willow Crossing(at the Pick n Pay) and what a pleasurable experience

Have to wait until after loadshedding, then I was 1st in the que and another person came in 3 places after me, who was there before loadshedding. They told us he was there previously and had to be assisted first. Then another hour went by with him at the counter. Last year February you could renew your licence only with the MLV2 form, November you had to have an ID copy of the owner of the vehicle, now you need a certified copy!! Why is changing the rules not communicated?!

Just close the post offices.5 international parcels just missing.Been delivered by the service provider in SA and no SA tracking reseaved.Was in the post office for 2hours with no results.If i treated my clients the way they treated me today,i would no longer have a business. Maybe its time for them to close their doors.

Terrible competence levels of the staff working there. I presented by renewal notice and original ID to get my vehicle license disc renewed, but they REFUSED TO ASSIST even though a renewal notice supercedes the ALV form. They then said I must go to a PostNet, download the ALV form because they don't have any, make a copy of my ID for them, and return with the Renewal Notice before they will assist. When I showed them their own checklist that they have posted on a wall for vehicle disc renewals, they said that it is not their checklist! Don't bother with this Post Office if you need competent people to assist you. Rather go to Valhalla Post Office, the staff there are alot better skilled and efficient.
