Honestly such an amazing security company. Always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone. Highly recommend to anyone looking for armed response, guarding, body corporate rule enforcement, private security, electric fencing, alarm installations, access control, CCTV installations and many other services.

Edit: It turns out that armed robbers can leave easily, but God help you if you're a visitor with an expired code. Classic example of security theatre.Original review:I only noticed many months later that Avid had attempted to respond/contact me, but they have not responded to my message asking for clarification regarding their actions. My original issue is outlined below.I was prevented from leaving an apartment complex by Avid guards, as I did not have a valid code. These codes expire after 24 hours, so if you are leaving the following day or if you have entered with a resident driving your vehicle you are not allowed to leave. They seem to believe that they are above the law and have no qualms disregarding one's constitutional rights.I subsequently obtained a legal opinion:In my opinion

These people are just for show. They want to harass an profile you on the streets in Burgundy but acces control at the complex anyone can register there fingerprints.

I received the worst possible service from 2 of your staff today.The response vehicle driver was even worse than the first person that tried to helped me. The driver was extremely aggressive and racist and left after I told him that there was no need to be rude when helping people. He then said he would not help me and will leave if I don't speak to him properly. Mind you I was asking him to speak to me in an appropriate manner and told him I did not understand why he felt this was the time to be rude. (White/Afrikaans male)I am disappointed and disgusted. I cannot believe I was threatened by the person who was supposed to help.I will go into the details when I contact the office formally.The public should know that there's a chance of receiving the absolute worst service in times of danger / need.
