I'm so impressed with the kind and professional service received from the Sonja Smith Team in Benoni. They made the logistics of dealing with my mom's passing smooth and worry-free which is exactly what we needed at that time to be able to just grieve.

The service and caring I received from Wynand & Celeste in this time of sadness was amazing. Everything promised was delivered to perfection, even to providing an additional service I required which was not their responsibility, and no charge added. Wonderful.

With the passing of my mom on 18 September 2022, the worst period in my life was made so much more bearable with the assistance of Wynandt and his team at Sonja Smith Funeral Group in Benoni. From the very first phone call to ask them to collect the body until the last turn of the hearse around the corner on the day of her funeral, I have had only professional, caring and amazing service and advise from Wynandt. He constantly kept in touch and updated me regarding the arrangements. Everything was flawlessly arranged and beautifully done 100% according to our wishes. I would certainly recommend them always!

Finding Sonja Smith Funeral Group Benoni and specifically Wynandt was a true and utter blessing.From the moment I contacted Wynandt I just knew I had made the right decision. The entire process was done with the great sympathy, empathy and professionalism which is exactly what you need when you have just lost somebody.Being out the country for so many years had me concerned on how long things would take to process but Wynandt reassured me that we would have everything done before I needed to head back, this was within two and a bit weeks. All registrations, documents and more were handled in an exceptionally timely manner.Wynandt and Jannie went above and beyond, from the moment I first made contact, to the very end with delivering my Mom's ashes to me before I flew back to the UK.We also used their office to hold an intimate memorial which was just perfect - it held around 15 people for the ceremony. The décor was perfect, with all the flowers dotted around, it just looked special.The other side of the office was also setup for catering and despite load shedding the service was everything I could have hoped to have achieved.Loosing a loved one is one of the hardest things you will go through during your life but having somebody like Wynandt by your side helps you get through the difficult times.Thank you for everything you did for us.

Their service was calm, precise and appropriate for the circumstances I found myself in. They guided my family and I on the steps that would be followed from collection to funeral, always in touch with us, and with a soft approach that left us impressed with the caring way they assisted all of us. The brought calmness to an uncertain, sad and stressful day.
