Lost our very first item taken in and now refusing to reply to phone calls or requests for follow up.

Cold and rude staff at Rondebosch branch. Quite pricey for just cleaning my suit jacket. But the pathetic service really killed it! Totally avoid. They don't have a price list and issue paper receipts to avoid taxes! SARS should look into their Rondebosch branch.

By far the worst service I have every experienced. From rude staff who totally ignore you in store and never call you back, to waiting times that are almost double to those promised. I fail to see how such an ill-run company stays in business.

Great service from Harrington’s Riverside Mall branch in Rondebosch. Zip replaced on site and then suit brilliantly dry cleaned like it’s now brand new. All co-ordinated with efficiency and smiles all round. Thanks!

Terrible service, terrible experience. The lady told me that I can pick up my shirts on monday. I was at the shop at 5 they close at 5:30 and clothes was not ready. I had to wait until 17:40 for my clothes... di not recommend!

The only way Harringtons Rondebosch could be worse, would be if they took your money and just never returned your clothes.

The branch in Kenilworth lost my zara jacket, apparently it was delivered to the wrong branch and that branch can't be located. I kept phoning religiously for 3months for an update and I'm still waiting for feedback for my jacket. They should just have the decency to call and say they misplaced my jacket.

terrible serviceI hired a carpet cleaning machine from harringtons against my better judgement, firstly the manager" said I can come in when I called and when I arrived she said I should've booked the machine. I then booked and when I arrived the second time was told that the machine is out and I can collect later that day after I had already paid someone to clean the carpet. I then said I could not drive up and down and decided that I would collect the Monday after the failed second attempt. As I believe in second chances I prob should have gone elsewhere. Needless to say the machine didn't clean our carpet properly the manager left early when I dropped the machine that I ended up leaving at the shop next door and she refused to give my deposit when I called her. I then called Head Office and the manager is yet to attend to this problem it been weeks. :( beware when things go wrong you'll have no recourse but small claims court"
