I bought a Pfaff of over R50 000 in May 2022 and within the first month the one light started flickering. I was promised to have it replaced under guarantee. However, it is now end October 2022 and still I no word as to when the part will arrive. I have followed up with them. I am very disappointed and wish I had rather purchased a Brother. Also, my insurance does not cover transport by a third party and they do not want to have a technician do it on their premises. I think this is rather the issue than the light “being out of stock” for months because they are annoyed that I don’t want to take a chance of something happening to the machine when not covered by my insurance for 3rd party transport. It is a lot of money to pay and the flickering light is heavy on the eye. Very, very disappointed. Lots of promises of excellent service before you buy. Never thought I would ever say this, but I cannot wait for the machine to be out of guarantee so I can take it to Mike at Sewknit who I have dealt with for years.
