Your company are total thieves we hardly use any electricity and we pay double compared to another meter company .STOP RIPPING OFF THE PUBLIC :(:(

Daylight robbery. First of all, we get electricity from eskom at R1.84 per unit. Citiq charges R2.70 per unit for the first block. Then they take 8.45% and another 3.45 % of your payments for their fees, over and above the 86 cents profit they add per unit of electricity. A unit cost R3-60 at the end of the day after they added all their charges and profit. They further advise you to use their app to purchase electricity but the app doesn't work for purchases. The best advice their call center can give you is go buy somewhere else.***As I told you, phoning me and just saying sorry and apologizing doesn't solve the mess and blaming the landlord for the rates, when you never even asked him what the rates are, is not a solution. It also doesn't fix your app that doesn't seem to work at all. Rather take the time and cost of all the sad sorry phone calls and use it to fix the mess.

Do not buy this product. We have 7 meters, of witch 3 already broke within 3 years for different reasons. One meter stopped running and the tenant has free water, the second meter started leaking and the third meter died. Apparently the battery ran out and cannot be replaced. The life expectancy of the battery appear to be 3 years, so you will be replacing this unit every 3 years. Pathetic!!!!

Big fight because after installation of a electrical pre paid meter tye registration form was sent on the whatsapp number with instructions. 4 days later it was sent again with same instructions. Today was a very unpleasant phone call and credit to the consultant on the receiving end of that call. He assisted me without delay or negative comments. My 1st bad experiance with them was rescued by that consultant

Biggest thiefs out there. Robbing people with their tariffs. Don't recommend these people for anything

Very helpful and well trained staff

My tenants will by R500 worth of electricity but will only get 260 units. And as I understand Citiq only takes 8% for their services. But the math is not adding up. I have phoned and phoned but the phone will just ring. I can not let my tenants buy electricity for dubble what we pay for electricity in the main house.

Have only had excellent service from this company

My first experience was the worst 3 months ago when I applied for change of ownership of my pre-paid meter. It took weeks of silence regardless of all the emails sent. I then got assistance from a helpful consultant after lodging a complaint.A few days ago I called to enquire about adding a new meter and a consultant named Tashan assisted me in a few minutes time to add the meter and activate it right away. So I guess they have a few hard workers mixed with helpless workers. Tashan was really great and definitely is one of the hard workers.
