Olive Rock Wedding and Function Venue

Our wedding at Olive Rock last week was absolutely perfect in every way. We loved the authentic, natural feel of the venue - from the beautiful lawns and gardens to the modern architecture and landscaping. Nick's food is unbeatable! One of our main concerns in finding a venue was the food, but after falling in love with Olive Rock and then discovering Nick had catered my brother and sister in law's wedding years back, we knew the food would be stunning. The lamb shank falls off the bone, and our guests raved about the variety of canapés and desserts - everything exceeded our high expectations! Simone makes everything so simple and relaxed - I didn't have to stress about a single thing, as she pulled all the little details together and ensured everything ran smoothly. I can't rave enough about Olive Rock, and am so happy we chose to spend such a special day at this special place beneath the mountains!

We live here and get the best feedback after every wedding. “The best food!”. “Simone the most wonderful hostess”. “Everything perfect”. “Couldn’t have been better”. So great to hear these comments week after week from guests visiting the area. Well done Olive Rock team. You do our valley proud.

Accommodation we used was very basic but sufficient for our purposes. We did not use the conference and/or wedding facilities. Airton would be a worthwhile addition especially in the very warm summer months.

Annie and I (newlyweds) can honestly recommend this venue to any couple or anyone planning a special or memorable event. Simone and Nick have pulled out all the stops to make our dream day be exactly (if not better) as we hoped it would be. The venue and scenery in the background is beyond beautiful. It was the ideal location for an international wedding and to show off our beautiful country!

We had the privilege of hosting our wedding at the beautiful Olive Rock in Feb 2019.Planning a wedding from Australia, choosing a venue without seeing it in person, a menu without tasting the food, and entrusting your day to people you will only meet a day before your wedding seemed daunting at first. But Nick & Simone made this experience one that we wish we could have over and over again.The venue and its views absolutely take your breath away. The food that Nick prepares with love is out of this world - hands down the best you will ever have.We can't thank Nick and Simone enough for their generosity, care, and love that they poured out on our day. They truly made us feel like we were the first couple whose wedding they could host at their venue, and any couple who chooses to host their wedding day at Olive Rock will have their expectations exceeded.

A beautiful venue and great catering. The scenery makes for a lovely photo backdrop. The entrance could be easy to miss and there is a fair bit of dirt road to travel to the actual venue but otherwise it is almost perfect.
