My wife and I stayed here for 5 days/4 nights as part of a larger 2 week vacation in South Africa to cerebrate our 3rd anniversary. From the moment our car pulled into the main driveway we were transported into an alternate reality where all your needs and wants are taken care of. The staff we interacted with throughout our stay were courteous, professional, and attentive. The game drives were for the most part entertaining and eye opening. There were some slower days on drives, but that is less to do with the Lodge and more just the general nature of wildlife viewing. We made new friends and will always cherish the time spent at Tambuti Lodge.

From the moment we arrived at Tambuti Lodge we were treated like royalty. The rooms were large, well-appointed and luxurious. The communal area and boma were very inviting and had an amazing atmosphere. Super helpful and friendly staff were always on hand to ensure that all our needs and desires were met. The chef and kitchen staff surprised us with fantastic dishes every day. The game drives well exceeded our expectations. The game ranger is very knowledgeable and kept us entertained on every drive. We got to see the most spectacular wildlife.Tambuti Lodge is an absolute gem with the best team. We will highly recommend it to all our family and friends.

I knew from the very first moment that it was the best choice ever. Absolutely amazing place with the perfect team, Malcolm welcomes guests very warmly like his family, the guide Jacques is absolutely amazing, funny full of knowledge guy and spending time with him is an absolute pleasure, he always creates a good mood and you never get bored with him. Last but not least, I want to highlight the chef Rayan, who spoiled us with delicacies and food that deserves 10 stars. Absolutely perfect, extraordinary holiday! Thank you !

My family currently lives in the Pretoria area, just 2.5 hours away from Tambuti, and the lodge has become our go-to spot for hosting visitors who come to visit us from the United States and elsewhere. Exceptional service, attention to detail, and a clean/relaxing/quiet space to unwind. If you need to sleep in more than you need a game drive, there's no pressure to do the early wake up. And the all-inclusive package allows you to just sit back and enjoy. It feels like a REAL get away!

I can’t recommend Tambuti lodge enough, it is truly a spectacular lodge that checks every box on the list of requirements for a relaxing, decadent and comfortable bush experience.From the moment you walk in the door you are met by an exceptional host and welcoming staff ready to wait on you hand and foot while you sit back, relax and take in the spectacular surroundings.Each day included two game drives, each with a little stop where you’re treated to some snacks, wine or coffee and in a spectacular setting. The guides exceptional knowledge of the bush and animals add a level of enjoyment that just elevates our game drive to a level you didn’t know to expect.Every meal is an occasion and presented with care and a little personal touch that creates a truly curated experience.After an evening of delicious food and wine around the fire you have a comfortable and spacious suite to retire to where you have a little private patio and amazing bath to soak in looking out into the bush surrounding the lodge.

Tambuti Lodge is truly a magical experience. The guide (Chané) was amazing and helped us find some of the best sitings we've seen in the bush, the chefs (Katleho and Barry) served incredible meals, and the rest of the staff (especially Marcia) spoiled us with an intimate and unique experience everywhere we went. We'd highly recommend this intimate, luxury experience to anyone.

Since the moment we walked in, i regretted only booking for one night. The lodge was looking absolutely stunning and the crew was amazing. The hospitality was spot on. The crew was super kind and helpful. The food was amazing and was brought in by the chef herself. The safaris were perfect too, we saw 4 of the big 5. Amazing experience, will never forget about this.Tip: bring warm clothes! Safaris can be chilly. Also bring snacks from your home country for this amazing crew. They deserve it!

This place is amazing, from the personal welcome from the GM, Guide & Hostess, a very well run Lodge.The rooms are spacious, food prepared by a in-house Sheff.Guided game drives with a very competent, well experienced guide, with snacks, drinks ext.will visit them again in the new year.
