The outside restaurants with garden are a breath of fresh air. The lush green surroundings create a serene and relaxing ambiance, perfect for enjoying a meal.

Beautiful venue, I loved the many trees and colourful gardens as well as the magnificent geese and chicken.I, cannot, however share this sentiment with the food.In my honest opinion, the bill of farewas rather limited to a few simple dishes, some of which we tried, and found that they were insubstantial in taste and quantity hence not being worth half the money we paid for.For example the ‘meaty platter for two’had just about enough meat for one, let alone qualifying to be a starter.My personal experience could be equated with an empty room with a view.

Went there for a friend wedding... Venue is breathtakingly beautiful... The rooms are big and spacious, clean and beautiful. The venue is just amazing and the staff was just excellent. Will definitely go there again.

Beautiful venue with the most calming ambience. Staff is very friendly and the service is top notch. The air is so crisp due to their many trees and they grow their own vegetables. They have the most delectable food and are very generous with their portions. A hidden gem, it really is a small Cape. Loved it

Definitely not kid friendly as encouraged, not even a baby changing station.Toilets or plumbing leaking, the toilets stalls are wet with water.Was at an event hosted by the venue, the event itself was spectacular.Not sure if food and drinks are outsourced, but pathetically over priced and limited, poor food variety.Would've been better if they had a cafe or vending machine available. Rather eat junk than the food they had available. Not worth the money. Wth is butter vegetable curry. My kids couldn't eat anything there. Apparently kids are welcomed, but not a kid friendly environment. No grass - just a sandy bare patch to picnic. And no own food allowed. Not stroller friendly, no baby changing station.The trees make it beautiful.Staff unfriendly.

My husband and I, booked a table at the Klein Kaap Restaurant last night, 29 April 2023. We were celebrating our anniversary. Unfortunately our experience wasn't what we expected. I ordered the snoek which should have been served with sweet potatoes (soet patats), mustard (not a wisp of mustard), glaze and greens which I thought would be green vegetables. First of all I was served a piece of hake. After I queried it, I was given (not even 5 minutes later!) a plate with mashed sweet potato (very liquidly), not like the traditional recipe. The snoek was dry and full of bones. Doesn't a good chef at least remove the bones? No green vegies, two heaps of mixed salad! My meal was very disappointing and my husband's meat, pork belly, was also dry, the green beans old and he was also served a heap of mashed sweet potatoes! I am sorry, the food didn't suit a well-established restaurant like yours! I am sorry that we had such a disappointing experience at an establishment where we had always had excellent service.Ria Hugo

We went there for a breakfast Coffee. Waiters weren't friendly, helpful, or in any way sufficient. We waited long for our coffee, which then was served in a wine glass. It was so hot we couldn't even hold the wine glass to drink our coffee. Coffee was not tasty either. Not sure what is happening over here but this is not the service or quality we have previously received. Wouldn't recommend.

Our table was set under the beautiful trees. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was excellent. Thank you.
