Lovely quite beach however swimming can be hazardous. Be aware that the waves are large, unpredictable and the undercurrent drags slopes in the sand. Which result in a dangerous situation of not being able to find your footing once the wave has passed you.It is a beautiful clean beach and lovely for a stroll. With a little effort you can view beautiful caves and a shipwreck long forgotten with low tide.

Fantastic clean beach. Not a tourist beach but as good as any beach in Wilderness. One restaurant Visgaat close to beach front. Parking available. Not wheelchair friendly either dunes or steps involved.

Not crowded - even during peak times. Plenty of parking. I don’t believe this beach is protected by lifeguards except small parts of it during peak season. But it is dog friendly and clean.
