Gold Reef City Theme Park Hotel

From the moment I stepped foot into the grand lobby, I was captivated by the hotel's elegant ambiance and warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, providing personalized service that exceeded my expectations.

I have just completed my stay at the Gold reef Casino Theme park hotel and it was a terrible experience of all of my life in staying in hotels, I have checked in on Friday 10th of March and checked out on the 13th of March 2023... my stay on friday was fine but Saturday wasn't as our shower was leaking in the bathroom so we had to put towels down to soak up the water... then we headed of to ultra music festival later that day ... upon return at 4am Sunday morning we noticed that our room was not cleaned (from Friday which we checked in) and then we said okay not a big deal ... we phoned reception for some towels to have a bath ... then we see that there is no water... its the first time I'm staying at a hotel that doesn't have water... every single hotel that I have stayed in has water to atleast have a bath but this was extremely annoying and I will never ever go back to stay at Gold reef casino!!! Or the theme park ever again!!! This is a waste of R6000.00. I hope somebody calls Me back after seeing this post!

A very clean and convenient hotel whilst staying at Gold Reef City.When you arrive in the car park, you are met and transported to reception by executive bus. Very easy and the transfer takes a few minutes.Check in was pleasant and everything was explained to us about the facilities available.Beds were comfy and all usual facilities found in the room ie coffee machine, water etc.Only real complaint was the incredibly long time it took for the hot water to reach the shower. I’m taking many minutes. At one point I didn’t expect to get any but it eventually trickled through.Our room rate included breakfast, which was a buffet style. Good selection of hot and cold foods. The freshly cooked omelettes were great.Definitely recommend it if you’re looking to do a few days at the park. It’s very very convenient.

The rooms were as they should be. Clean and neat with enough plugs and charging points. Aircon and large bathroom with shower. The breakfast buffet was average. Reception staff and porters are excellent!

Great location in the park. I loved the fact that you get two days entry into the park for staying one night. Safe enough to walk to the casino at night and back....buffet breakfast was ok, although could have been of a higher standard.

I took my girlfriend on the vacation to GRC she really loved it. it was her first time and she was blown away by the beauty she was beholding. everything was so beautiful beyond words.

We had an absolute blast! Experience was incredible. The breakfast was amazing, rooms are stunning,and if you find yourself going to Barney's for supper, you must must must have their cheesecake!We didn't feel rushed and getting to go into the theme park early in the morning and being able to walk around at night is absolutely amazing. Would 10/10 recommend anyone to come here.

Very welcoming staff, rooms are spacious and appear to be recently renovated. Breakfast has limited options. We had issues with our TV (unusable) and the aircon, which you could only switch on/off via the electrical db. Staff where not able to assist. Overall really awesome to stay in a theme park, which makes for a very unique family experience.

It was super fun. Lots of activities to accommodate different people of all ages. I was there on work team building. Will love to experience the hotel experience with my son soon. You guys ROCK
