American Battery Company Salt Rock

I bought 2x 102 AH Gel Osaka deep cycle batteries for my inverter with a 1 year warranty. In the 11th month of these batteries they both failed. Dave questioned why I came only now with warranty almost up. Who cares, you have to honor warranty, even if it is one day to go. So according to Dave it is because of load shedding, which I understand. I stay in Westbrook, that doesn't get too much load shedding. These batteries should give you 500 cycles, which means discharge to 20% - 11,6vdc and charged back to full capacity 500 times. My inverter has protection, not to go beyond those values. So even if I had load shedding every single day, I would still have 135 cycles left. They sent both batteries to supplier for testing, and said nothing is wrong with them. To this day they cannot issue proof of test. I then gave them to a friend, and batteries failed after 20 minutes. He only had TV, router and pc as a load. Dave basically just told me, Do what you have too". I'm very disappointed

Excellent service rendered by Dave and Donovan. Called them and within 30 min they arrived at my place with a new battery and at a very good price. Will recommend American batteries any day.

What wonderful service. My vehicle kept cutting out. Luckily I managed to get to American Battery where it was sorted in no time.

Absolutely the best service from a battery company. Long story short had an issue with a failing battery called the ABC wizards and 10 minutes later all sorted. Love the trust fostered between locals and local businesses. Many thanks to the ABC team for your help. ABC (American Battery Company) They are based at the Caltex garage in Salt Rock.

Best service ever. This company really knows what customer service is all about. Within minutes from me calling for a price, and to note the best price I could find on the north coast. Took the car in and it was sorted out in a flash. You won't find better!!!
