The place is well situated with beautiful views, however, there is no aircon in the room, except for a fan which is tucked away in the cupboard. It is very rowdy, dogs barking next door and chickens fighting with each other. To be woken up in the early hours of the morning with chickens crowing and birds making nests in the tinned roof above us - unfortunately not my style. Problem connecting to wi-fi.Service was good though.

The two rooms we booked were clean and spacious, and service was good.When we arrived, we were told that there is a problem with the geyser and there is no hot water since the previous day, but that a electrician will arrive shortly to sort out the problem. The next morning there was still no hot water. In the middle of winter this is quite challenging.

Worst service and experience ever. I booked a night 4 rooms with Moses. When I tried to follow up on payment enc. He did nt come back to me. 2 days before our stay for 6 people he sent me a whatsapp to cancel my booking and he gave it to someone else.Dont book this place they will drop you without letting you know.DONT RECOMMEND.

We spent the first 2 nights of our honeymoon here and it was bliss. Cozy, yet classy. Bed was made for us daily and the bath products provided from local soap shops are perfect if you have sensitive skin like I do

Do not book here. Despite confirming with the owner prior to our trip, and having paid in full weeks before, they did not have a room for us, and did nothing to try and solve the situation. We were left stranded in a small town after a wine festival, so in no state to drive anywhere.

This is the place to be... whether you are staying for a weekend or going for a week. This guest house offers five double rooms, each with their own bathroom, two living areas, one dining room, a kitchen and a nice big stoep which anyone can access from their bedrooms. Beautifull views of surrounding houses, farms an other amenities. There is parking for five vehicles as well as a nice built in braai on the stoep area. The manager in charge is also very friendly and helpful. Please allow yourself a breakaway to this gem in Riebeek Kasteel and I am sure you will mot be dissapointed.

We enjoyed our stay. Basic nice rooms but the main feature is the spacious communal areas kitchen, lounge, braai patio with great views towards the mountains. The assistant to the big house (Jimmy) was very helpful and he would assist with anything we mite need to make our stay better.

Fantastic and cosy yet massive house.The owner named Moses is just one humble gentlemen.Everything is there that you may require.Gonna go there soon with the whole family again, Pure bliss.
