Italtile Menlyn

Frustrating no service, staff is chatting and pay no attention to customers, I had to ask for service..EXCUSE ME!!! is it a privilege to be served by staff or is it up to me to find what I need..wake up..

I had the most amazing experience at Italtile Menlyn last year October 2022. My entire customer journey was wonderful to say the least, from the time I walk into the beautiful showroom that not only allows you to walk form level to level, but the cleanliness of store, the layout, the stock that they have display is awesome. To add to this, the professionalism of their sales staff was really great without been in your face. I purchased two basins that ticked all my boxes - quality, design and price. Complementary water (or coffee/tea) was much need on that hot summer Saturday was refreshing. I thought that was were my journey ended with Italtile for now. Sadly, despite relocating down to George (with our basins), our builder had already fitted the new house with basins and I had to returned the ones purchased. Oh boy, here comes trouble I thought. Well not at all. Wayne from Italtile George was wonderful and had no problems returning the basins (still in their boxes) and as for Sias from Italtile Menlyn, very professional with daily updates regarding my refund. There is no other tile and sanitary company I will support other than Italtile - thank you guys.

My brother Philip and I, had a wonderful and peaceful time at Italtile Menlyn, browsing, sitting, thinking, emagining etc. Amongste the beautiful and wide range of tiles. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Secure parking shared with CTM.The building design and anesthetics looks very classy and appealing.Inside showroom is huge and spacious.We got helped straight away and all questions answered.This showroom does not have your high end exclusive tiles you will find at shops like Lifetsyle Ceramics but you should find some tyle that will tickle your fancy.

I came in the showroom really not looking my best. As a matter of fact we looked like homeless people. Reinier assist us from we came in..without justment. Thanks for your friendly advice and super service.

Very nice, inspiring displays amongst the expensive selection of goods, some of which are hell-of-a overpriced and some which are, strangely cheaper than the CTM tile shop next door. Overpriced, when compared to other suppliers, at a glance are Eg: tile cement, aluminum strips. I went there to buy some tiles to make a focus point at my guest toilet basin. I picked out 8 BIG tiles for this purpose. I did tell the loading guy, that I needed these exact 8 tiles, I hoped that there was no broken tile in the 2 boxes, and I asked him if we should maybe open the boxes to check. He said there's no need.On arrival at home, we unpacked the tiles and found that the top tile in one box was broken. I had to drive all the way back to italtile, I was told they would not give me a free replacement, but I would have to pay at the rate of a sample tile. Thanks italtile, way to really changing a good impression to BAD, and I will do my best to avoid you guys for all my future needs.UPDATE** So, while I was loading the one tile which I had paid for, I noticed it was the wrong color. I had originally asked for white ones, and this was beige.I realized that my tiler was back home, using the beige tiles. I went back into the store, and this time, I got a really nice person to help me. I explained the drama, without even overthinking it, he offered to give me 8 more tiles in the white, plus the tile glue and grout for the white. He totally turned the situation around.The funny thing is, had the original lady NOT given me the wrong color tiles, Sias would never have had the chance to reprieve Italtile for what was, awful service in the case of the broken tile. For the improvement in the service I received once the wrong color was discovered, I have changed my 1 star to 3 stars.I still have mixed feelings about receiving the wrong color tiles, being told I didn't need to check them, then finding a broken tile and being made to drive back and pay for one.Anyways, thanks to Sias, for being the star performer, well ahead of the 3 others I dealt with over this matter.***additional update a week later......I have upgraded the 3 stats to 4. Sias eventually drove himself to the property where the tiles were being used. He collected the unused, incorrectly colored, beige tiles, with the grout and tile cement, which we had not used. This was a personal touch that one would expect from a place that has incorporated an Italian element to its name.

I had the most incredible service at Italtile Menlyn. Gerda helped me with the most amazing service. When I needed extra tiles,she answered my calls and sorted everything out immediately. 5* service

We were assisted by Vitomi. He was absolutely brilliant and super helpful. He assisted us with everything we needed and then to add the cherry on top he organised cappuccinos for us. Margaret makes a mean cappuccino. Thank you for your awesome service.Highly recommend!

Wide range of tiles and mosaic tiles which are well exhibited in an attractive space. The staff in attendance was able to advise very well, without being obtrusive. The display area for mosaic tiles is practical and makes it extremely easy to consider combinations of tiles, as well as to compare tiles with each other. Certainly recommended, also for their hospitality and customer service.
