Had a lovely stay in LangJan, enjoyed the hottub even in the rain. Very friendly hosts who went the extra mile for us. The cheesecake was AMAZING!!! Will definitely be back!!

We stayed 8-10th October 2021 at Nellie's Needle. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We received complimentary wine, jam and bread. The unit was clean and we had all we needed. I only have one fault and that is that the bedroom pillows were dusty and I had to sleep without a pillow. Perhaps replacing the pillows or steam cleaning them on a regular basis or even old fashioned dusting them outside would work. Otherwise we had clean, crisp linen and nice big towels. The bathroom was very nice with a great walk in shower and rain showerhead. The bath was comfortable and relaxing. I really enjoyed the outdoor shower too. The big patio/deck with braai and hot tub was superb and the views absolutely incredible. The hot tub and view were the reason we booked and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the complimentary wine of Opstal chenin Blanc too. The walk to the look out point was pleasant. We did have an incident of someone peeping in at our windows and possibly trying to get in to steal but it was handled well enough by the mangement and fortunately we were fine. (It could of been a chancer or a peeping tom).The unit is fitted with an alarm and camera so that helped us feel more at ease. Overall a lovely stay and Highly recommended.

We arrived just after the kitchen had closed but the staff were very accomodating and made a superb platter for 2. Highly recommended food

Fabulous location. Staff were wonderful. The restaurant serve really good food at great prices. The accommodation is spacious and fitted with everything you may need, and more. Only thing to be aware of is that you have to be extremely careful when getting in and out of the hot tub and also sit very still when you're in it...one misstep on the slippery tiles and you may just end up with 3rd degree burns like I did. Apart from that it's definitely worth a visit.

Stayed over in the Barber cabin at Opstal. Absolutely stunning. Super clean, beautiful views. Can’t wait to go back for a longer stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an great escape for the city.

What a breathtaking venue! We loved shooting a Wedding here. The friendly staff go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect and the views are truly beautiful :)

What a location! Absolutely stunning views, beautiful cabins and amazing service. Attended a wedding and stayed two nights at this beautiful estate. Definitely a must if you need a mini getaway. Will definitely be back!

Our stay at Opstal Stay was a memorable one. We had the most beautiful view from all the rooms. Hottub on the patio with a spectacular view. Cabin has everything you need and more. What made the stay even more special is the super hostess she is on point with everything from the lovely welcoming gifts to details of any problems you my have.
