The concept is great but the high costs of annual services with empty promises from Craig Renny (JHB rep) have left nothing negative feelings towards Securi-Lid.

The quality of this is beyond bad. I've had mine on my bakkie for less than 6 months. The plastic near the handle is already brittle and sun faded. It is hard to open because the latch sticks. It leaks even in the lightest rain and is a dust trap. Drive in any dirt road and the back will be filled with more dust than the outside of the car.A major waste of money. I'm going to replace it with something better after only a few months of having it. It's so badly made that I'm not even going to fight with the suppliers, which is a first for me.

Poor quality products how could you design a handle with plastic material, is it a money making scheme? I have a Securid-lid 218 installed and within 12months the handle cannot open because of broken plastic handle material used by the manufacturer.I am based in East London and i have already been charged by Ultra Guard in East London for repairs.
