Went to the hall for my discovery surfers challenge goodie bag collection and the hall looks good, parking was a bit of an issue

Very hot and stuffy inside. Airconditioners will make conditions more comfortable for all who use the hall.

This is not a complaint about Nutting Hall but rather who they choose to associate themselves with.Absolute horror scenes at Nutting Hall having to deal with the Surfers registration.Firstly, I had to download two apps which were not mentioned anywhere when needing to sign up online - one of which I never even used, so why the need to download the thing?Secondly, on the one app that I did end up using, I had to enter all the details of every member I was collecting for, WHICH WE ALREADY SUBMITTED WHEN WE ENTERED ONLINE. So why did we have to enter all those details online if we are just going to have to do it again when we collect our chips?Thirdly, the Surfers Challenge now costs more than it ever has and all you get is a chip that you need to return in order to get a t-shirt when you are done. Gone are the days of cheaply made goodie bags with promotional items of any kind, even if they were useless. But don't worry, you can collect a FREE newspaper - which they were very proud to announce at the Hall. Yay.Disappointment doesn't begin to describe the shambles of what this has turned into. Are you telling me Discovery doesn't have enough money to put into the event that they so proudly have all the banners erected for, in the rain? Nothing has changed about the route yet we pay more for less? If you want to run the Surfers, just find the route, study it and go run it yourself for free. Most definitely won't be spending my money on this scam again.

I was only there as the hall was used as a voting station. But it is an extremely good facility.
