Been waiting over a month for my shipment now, no replies to emails and a rude person answering the phone named Shan, condescending and unhelpful.Really unimpressed with how bad the service has gotten from when I started ordering, not sure what alternatives there are in ZA

As a medical practitioner myself and only 4 months after surgery I am amazed by my result so far. Can't wait to see the final result.Definitely recommend this facility. Both for medically maintaining your hair and to replace the hair you have lost.

I can highly recommend Dr.Larry as he was very clear about possible results after opting to do a small skin excursion. The whole process ran very smooth & results as expected. A folllow-up hair implant session is required but it was expected, so im happy to be In good hands for thst op, as soon as my budget allows.

Sent an email to enquire about a procedure, got a reply to which I replied back and since then been waiting 3 months to hear back, countless emails sent to them with not even a reply... personally wouldn't recommend based on the service I recieved...

I paid for an online consultation on 28th April, it's now the 3rd May. I have not heard anything. I have sent emails with no responses. Not great service, from the start.Update, I was contacted. An appointment was setup. Very happy with the appointment and the way forward with my treatment. The Doctor was very kind and understanding to listen to my health situation. She recommended a treatment program, and said I could email with any questions.

It has been almost exactly a year since Dr Larry performed FUT Hair transplant on me. I have waited this long to write a review because it takes about a year to see the final results. Where to start? There are about 4-5 hair clinics in Cape Town. So how do you figure out which one to trust? I found it very difficult to find other people who have had an operation to speak too. I knew Dr Larry had been practicing for 30 years and I have seen him featured as a guest on numerous TV shows over the years. So I decided that he would be the best person to choose. A year later I am really happy with the results... It's really amazing and I will try and post some pictures here. Included is some infomation on the operation and the aftermath. I was really nervous about the procedure but a hair transplant is actually a minor operation and day of the operation went very smoothly. The big thing to note is that after the operation your face swells up and you look like Harry Potter when his face got jinxed in Malfoy Manor in Deathly Hallows part 1(you get written briefing about all these and other things). Other then that the back of my head felt mildly numb for about 2 months after(from FUT). The big takeaway you need to realize is it going to take ONE YEAR to grow your hair - to see the final results. The other thing is because the hair is from the back of your head it does not act exactly the same as the hair in the front. I used to have a cow lick but the new hair acts differently now. Also you are going take a single daily tablet of propecia for the rest of your life. A certain number of people do get bad sexual side effects so be aware of that, and read up about it, but I have been lucky and only had a temporary libido drop that returned to normal after a month or 2. Would I recommend Medical Hair Restoration and Dr Larry? 100% Yes, definitely! If you want ask more about my experience please don't hesitate too. I would have really appreciated finding someone to talk that had been through it all before.

My experience with MHR was extremely professional right from the start. Prior to the procedure and after many calls and discussions with Dr Larry we decided on which option would be best for me. During the discussion as well as during the procedure I felt comfortable and at ease at all times. It is four and a half months post procedure and I am very happy with the results thus far - in all probability the full benefit will likely only be seen near twelve months post procedure.

World class service! The transplant was done 10 months ago and so excited with the progress of my hairline. Thank you so much to Dr Larry and the team. I can’t believe I flew to Cape Town for the procedure and flew back to Joburg on the same day, I wouldn’t recommend that though hahaha

Saw these lovely doctors last year - my hair fell out after severe Covid infection - they gave me great advice. Also sold me Biotin cheaper than health shop prices. They see their work as an art and don’t promise what they can’t deliver. I am a medical doctor and would highly recommend them!
