Cynthias Country Stay

Wow Wow is all I can say... if you want to get away from City Noise Cynthia's place is a must visit. Lovely service, thanks Colleen for opening for us at night. To all the stuff keep up the good work, my friends and I as well as our kids we had a memorable time with u.

What a beautiful place. Peaceful. From the day we arrived we feld at home. Receptionist was very friendly. We felt so safe because there was security guards that would come and check on us. Early in the morning someone cleaned the pool. The main house had everything you need. Just come with your food.The place was very clean. Space was not a problem for us.Thank you Cynthia well done you had made it possible for family to come together and had a lovely time. I was looking for something that you could improve on but could not find anything We rate you 5star.

We stayed at Cynthia's for a night as we had a wedding in the area and needed an over night stay. The service was not very professional and the staff was not very helpful. We were only notified the morning after we had already left on our way to the farm that we needed to buy our groceries before hand as they are 2.5 km out on a gravel road. As we got to the farm we noticed that the structure of the chalet (if you can call it one) is not stable or well done. It was more like a Wendy house. Not one door is aligned so we really struggled, also the lock in the gate is not working properly so we couldn't lock the gate. Furthermore the over all condition of the chalet is not propper, the ceiling is very skew, the chairs inside the small kitchen is grossly stained and dirty. The state of the cupboard in the bedroom is disgusting. My fiance's Mother found 2 spiders in her bed when we wanted to go to sleep. We understand that the destination is all about farm life but this was very far from it. Growing up on a farm I've never seen plumbing done with swimming pool pipes, also if you shake out the bedding beforehand there wouldn't be spiders in the beds. House keeping is not a priority and you could see it clearly. For the price we had to pay for a nights stay, it is not value for money.

Had a excellent family weekend.Warm welcome from reception. We felt safe in a very relaxing atmosphere. The surrounding mountains and open fields gave us a real farm experience .The house is fully equipped and clean with a lot of space.Place will be recommended to family and friends.

We did a last minute booking and they welcomed us with open arms. The house is beautiful and spacious. Colleen and husband were extremely kind and understanding and made our stay very pleasant. Awesome spot for group bookings. We will definitely be going back.

Friendly staff. really peaceful and escape. Had wonderful breakfast prepared for us. Didn't have chance to try out jacuzzi.

What a wonderful lady, on arrival Colleen and her husband where already waiting to welcome us to their amazing place. Everything was great and peaceful, our cottage was clean and smelled amazing, we really felt safe and enjoyed every second of it.Thanks to Colleen, her husband as well as the team. We will definitely be back soon.

Great scenery and very nice and quiet! However the cabins can be a bit updated. Maybe a new TV with dstv. Just a suggestion The drainage in our cabin wasn't working properly; which resulted in a whole puddle of water when showering. Other than that it was good. They have a very cute cat lol
