Calitzdorp Hot Springs

A promising upgrade of the chalets, a superb destination to relax and admire a bright night sky. Pity that the ongoing load shedding interferes with the fresh supply and filtration of swimming pool and thermal water. Emmanuel Geldhof.

This is a beautiful place, has a beautiful view but the chalets are not well looked after. When we arrived we were greeted by blaring disco music. The water from the shower leaks onto the passage floor when you shower so the passage is wet, there are no doors on the shower so the water sprays everywhere, the fridge does not work, there is 1 steak knife and hardly any condiments, there is no beer glasses and 2 normal glasses and this is for 3 people, their kitchen tap leaks(and we are in a drought) There are also no load shedding contingency so at night it is pitch black.I would not recommend this place to stay as there are far better places to stay for the same price and even cheaper.

I was there before but service was not the same. on arrival in december 2022 we was told that they gave our chalets to other people as there was a situation previous day in their chalets. They assured us the situation was sorted, only to find out it situation was actually cockroaches, the place was full of it, we complained about that to the manager because in the first place u can't give a booked chalets to someone else and then put that people in there where the problem was. so we spoke to manager and he advise we move to another chalet and we will be refunded 1 night for the bad experience and inconvience. called for my refund and they have lot of stories. i don't know but that place will never see me again. bad bad.

Rooms are tidy and clean and so are the facilities. Had a lovely experience there a few years ago

You have such a beatiful place, nature and views are stunning, but your camping facilities are absolutely disgusting! No maintenance maybe for 10 or more years. It is a shame to ask people to shower in facilities that you offer for no cheap price!!

Needs upgrading and thorough deep clean. Extreme baboon problem. Could be an excellent holiday destination

Neat and well kept amenities for day visitors. Would need umbrella as sun is very hot in December. Unfortunately the hot pool was drained so did not experience the healing power of the water. That's why we visited Calitzdorp. A bit of a let down

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful hikes and the hot springs are amazing!
