Mi Casa of Languages - Spanish & Portuguese

Mi Casa of Languages has been a life changing experience for my partner and I. We've done Level 1 two times and we're currently knee-deep in Level 2 and both our teachers so far have been absolutely amazing. We have even been to Portugal and Madeira since starting, and I was amazed at how much of the language I could understand. The course administrators have also been very kind to us as artists, reaching out to us specifically and keeping us motivated to keep going. I would recommend this to anyone looking to learn a language first hand and in a group. It is practical, fun and immensely informative.Muito obrigado!

I just finished an intermediate Spanish one on one course with Mi Casa and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. My teacher, Karina ,was amazing and tailored the course specifically to my needs to push me out of comfort zones and to improve my Spanish. The team at Mi Casa were very easy to communicate with throughout the course, and very helpful , often going above and beyond what I expected. I would highly recommend Mi Casa to anyone.

Excellent Spanish and Portuguese courses provided by excellent facilitators. I always wanted to learn Spanish through this prestigious school, but being based in Johannesburg didn't make things easy. When I found out that they actually offer online lessons, I was able to join in and have the Mi Casa experience I’ve always only heard of and read about. Amazing group of people. They accommodated me at the last minute and made sure I had everything before the class started. Course material is great. We had Pr Pedro for beginner Portuguese and he is such a natural and friendly lecturer and immediately made you feel at ease. Do not hesitate to book your classes!!

Mi Casa has been a fantastic school! My partner and I did Level 1 and Level 2 and our understanding of the language has tremendously improved. He was learning Portuguese for the first time and I did it to improve my knowledge. The teachers were phenomenal and I especially loved how they threw us into the deep side - forcing you to focus and take part, forming sentences and allowing yourself to start thinking in Portuguese. They also gave us a large discount as they support artists wanting to further their skills - a gift we hold very close to our hearts. We will be taking part in Level 3 soon, but for now we are practising by ourselves and getting ready to só falamos português. Muito Obrigada Mi Casa! X

They are highly unethical. I waited for months for them to get enough students and eventually gave up and decided to cancel as our financial situation changed over that time. In the last minute, they found enough students but we made our decision. They then threatened to sue us, and my partner and I were forced us to pay an exorbitant fee or pay legal fees.For a low level institution"

Having a great experience thus far. Registration was a breeze. Currently half way through my Spanish beginner course - I am lucky to have the best teacher, Javier. He is so detailed and patient. Be prepared to get out of your comfort zone and to learn a lot and to make plenty of grammatical mistakes. Highly recommend if you are thinking to learn Spanish at a beginner level as I am currently doing.
