We had a wonderful experience from the calm strength of the gentle giants to the thunderous exhilaration of the cart ride. Our suite was lovely and well appointed and Christine's cuisine is sublime.

We spent a lovely day going on a hike and then picnicking on the verandah. We were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival and while we were on our hike the staff set a lovely table for us to have our picnic. Such a peaceful garden, with a super pool to enjoy and the horses right there. A must visit as there is so much more on offer. We will go again.

Absolutely stunning view, so peaceful and a great get away. We went for a day trip and had such a nice warm welcome. The staff was so accommodating and the horses where just breathtaking. We went on a lovely hike and when we arrived back a table had been set on the verandah for us to have our picnic. Over all an amazing place with such kind hearted people and would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area. Dont miss out on such a wonderful hidden gem!!!!

Had an absolutely amazing 4 night stay here with my 2 kids. Christine went out of her way to accommodate all of our requests and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The horse experience was just magical and the carriage ride exhilarating. We also went Mountain biking and spent lots of time by the pool side. I can highly recommend.

A wonderful experience interacting with the magnificent draft horses. The farm experience was delightful and the short hike was gorgeous with amazing views on offer. Learning about the history of this breed of horse was extremely interesting. Our hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for a family outing. Accommodation is also available and can be viewed on the website.

Big, comfortable bed but the rooms smelled of cats. The place has seen better days. The owner went out of her way several times to give us advice to make our stay better. Surrounded by horses. WiFi didn't reach our room. Pretty close to other things to do.

Even if you are not a horsey person, this is a lovely place to stay. The staff are clearly well looked after and happy, and this definitely comes across in their experiences with you.The rooms are lovely and the food is beyond delicious, with one of the best oxtail dishes I have ever had. The breakfasts on the verandah also being a have to do! Christine; owner, host and BFG (Big Friendly Giant) Mom, goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable and enjoyable and her love for these well cared for giants is infectious. Special mention to Jackie, Lindy, Kevin and all the other wonderful people who make this a go to excellent experience. Nice gentle walks and a slightly more strenuous, guided forest walk options are available.Lovely, well supervised horse interactions with the well behaved giants, with the carriage drive being a wonderful fun experience, are also on offer and are available to guests and day visitors.

Absolutely wonderful. Christene and Peter are excellent hosts and cater to your every need. The atmosphere is majestic and of course the horse are magnificent. We enjoyed every moment. Thank you very much for a memorable weekend.

Meeting and connecting with these huge, gentle horses is a life experience not to be missed. Even if you're not a 'horsey' person, you cannot be unmoved by them.The farm offers trails with wonderful views of the hills and mountains.Christine is a chef of note and went out of her way to satisfy our request for healthy vegan meals. The food was inventive and delicious.
