Metric Storage

Where do I begin with this review .Our goods went into storage last year June, when we left the country to follow my hubby dream to sail away to the Caribbean.From my 1st dealing with Dealtry , I knew I had hit the jackpot . He replied immediately to my email. I met with him the following afternoon so I could view the containers. Contract was signed and keys were handed over .Then in April 2019, I got an email from the company to say the land the containers were on , had been sold and Metric Storage has to move but they had already secured new premieres less than a km down the road.With us currently in the Caribbean and a huge time difference , I couldn't phone the company , so I sent Dealtry a whatsapp as I was concerned . Within 10min of me sending him the message, he replied and reassured me , my furniture would be ok and said a follow up mail would be sent out the following day with a run down of how it would work . My main concern was one of us would have to fly home to oversee the move. His reply was no , we will assist with pleasure .Mail arrived promptly , with step to step details on how it would be done. They listed a few companies that could assist with the move but said we could use our own people if we so wish. Closer to the time , I had secured a local company to do the move. Yet again another great company, I highly recommend. I then set up a whatsapp group with the storage & moving company . We spoke daily closer to the time. D Day arrived and the heavens above decided it's going to rain like crazy Murphy's law". I got a message from both company at 7am to say they on site and it's raining like crazy. No problem to the movers they reversed the truck right up to the container to load the goods. By 11am S.A. time and almost midnight in the Caribbean

This places goes out of their way to help their customers. When i need entrance to my storage they really try to help to accommodate my time even yet they are closed.I gave notice in December to move out. When the time came that i had to move out. I had an emergence, where i still had to rent the storage unit. They really helped me out to still store my stuff, even yet they already had someone taking the unit for the next month. Thanks for the hospitality

This must be the Worse storage place to deal with! They decide at will not to give you access to your storeroom and everything works with codes and sometimes the codes do not work and there's no one on the premises to help you. The owner never available to help.

Good storage place, but there T&C's are not clear on paying back deposit.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this review.The Staff are friendly and efficient but sadly this is where it ends.A family member of mine stored his vehicle at the facility in Steenberg and had all four of his tyres stolen and replaced with worn out and ripped tyres rendering the vehicle immobile. The vehicle went into storage with 4 of the same brand of tyre but ended up with r different types of tyre.I shall not be recommending this company.

I think it's one of the most affordable storage in the area, I am one of their customers as well.

I have been using the services of Metric Storage, both container and parking, for over 18 months. It is a pleasure to know everything I have stored is safe and secure. 24 hour access makes last minute stops easy. The staff are always friendly, professional and eager to help.Metric Storage is a team of individuals who focus on customer satisfaction.The staorage grounds are clean and tidy; safe and secure, with day and night security.The rental rates are extremely well priced and affordable.Honestly, there is nothing negative to say about the company, the facility or the staff.

Nice clean containers in a nice secure yard with nice staff. It's all very nice :)

As an events company in Cape Town we have been storing our goods with Metric storage for close to 2yrs now. We have never had any issues, even when they moved from one premises to another, there were no issues.Would happily recommend this space. Nice and secure and Mon to Friday there is always someone to greet you.Thanks guys!
