One of the best hikes we ever made. You will see a lot of seals and enjoy stunning views and the rough ocean. After following the trail to the middle (big sand dune) you can choose whether you want to go to The Point" (1

Absolutely loved it here! I did the hike and one of my all time favorite hikes! Not only is it challenging and the terrain is tough, but going to the Point means you get 9.5 kilometers.Words cannot describe the beauty of this Nature Reserve. I definitely recommend itPlease note, you need some degree of fitness. Even for the shortened version

Wow wow wow -blown away by the beautiful coastline! The ants are a bit hectic, don't stand still for long in most spots. The cooling ocean on my feet were so nice and everyone very friendly. Wear a cap and bring lots of water if doing the long hike.

What an amazing trail! Paths are well maintained and indicated. Would highly recommend for a family outing, or for a workout to sprint around the point. Full loop is approximately 8km with 200m of elevation. Keep in mind weather can change suddenly.

Gorgeous place to go and have a hike. Just do it early, as the heat and humidity takes a toll on you and take lots of water with. We saw seals and ended up on a beautiful clear beach that offered us some time to cooldown after the hot walk. For short people the climb up the mountain can be challenging at times but the view is worth it.

Tough, technical and Breathtaking!! This is a definitive must if you are anywhere near the Plett area. The route is just over 8km long and has the best views at all times. Definitely not for the faint of heart but if you take time and go slow anyone can make it. Make sure you pack enough water and something to snack on and to take many breaks.

The hike is perfect for many fitness levels & there is a halfway loop for a shorter version. The views from above are unchallenged & the most beautiful that you can imagine. A lovely beach accessible after the halfway mark too.

It was our first trip to Robberg yesterday. We first weren't sure if we should go in or not. I'm glad we decided to go in though. Most beautiful views! We did the shortest walk - the Gap. Not very prepared but it was an easy walk on a well kept path. Such interesting rock formations along the way. There's a colony of seals that live on the island - thus it's name. It was so cool to see so many of them in one place. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. Great place for a picnic. We want to go down to the beach area next time. I see fishing is allowed which is a nice weekend activity as well. I see there's renovations or upgrades being done in the info building. Was a bit disappointed that we couldn't go in and ask questions about the flora and geography aspects we saw along the way. Also there's a very convenient coffee stand by the parking lot. I just wish they had ice cream. I would definitely recommend going hiking here.
