Vodacom 4U Eastgate Mall

The ample staff that are scattered at the store entrance are rude, uninterested or annoyed if you dare ask for assistance, and when they dain to respond to you they are uninformed on their own products- sad

I have been a client of Vodacom for 27 years, never had a default in 27 years so I see myself as a loyal client. I have a couple of contracts so almost every year I get contacted by phone by a company from Durban, stating that they are calling as a partner of Vodacom and I have an upgrade available. They give you such a performance on how this is going to reduce your monthly bills etc etc. Come the month thereafter your bill is SKY High, and BOY, the fun starts. No Mr Kotze you spoke to so and so and you have to deal with them, I am so sorry for the inconvenience caused....blah blah blah. It is a s&&% show from hell, and don't you ever think they would offer you discount for being loyal, oh no. I cannot wait for my contracts to end because I have been abused enough!! Try and get hold of those who helped!! I dare you.

A big thank you to Tholakele Sithole who assisted me even when her shift had ended. Someone else would’ve rushed to go home but she willingly assisted me. Vodacom Eastgate is in good hands with her being an employee there. Thank you for the great service

Disrespectful, ill-mannered staff with the kind of management that “has no time” for customers…the disrespect is clearly a norm that the management allows the staff to get away with…now I understand why people say you leave that place disgusted and disappointed..my heart was in great shock that I keep replaying what that guy was saying and the rest of the staff just looking and not helping…meaning they always get away with the disrespect… I feel for the 1-3 ladies who try by all means to hold the place together and work with clients. How do you even go back to Eastegate for assistance? Nah Vodacom can shut down that Eastegate branch…so many times people complain and you find the same disrespectful people working there giving the same attitude and showing you how much they don’t care.

Was surprised at the great level of service despite the store being chaotically busy. Precious was fantastic.

I visited Eastgate Vodacom shop The consultants have sticking attitude and they don't know what they are doing . They get angry when you want help some are busy with their friends without paying attention Vodacom will lose customers because of that branch. I was going to give them a zero if possible. They all lazy and they just don't want to do their jobs .Southgate mall consultant are way way better 5 times better .It's sad because they are located in a busy mall.

After nearly 20 years, Vodacom lost me as a customer today. I went to the shop to convert from a prepaid to a contract. As a qualified financial professional I spend a lot of time on the phone with clients and needed a better solution. Neither the in-store staff nor the telephonic consultant was able to finalise the approval, even though I submitted the documents and have an a plus credit record. In fact, the telephonic consultant was very arrogant and straight forward told me she won't help me. Clearly just another job for them and a customer they don't want to help.

I go out of my way to come to this store. The staff are quick and efficient and always deal with your issue the best they can. They are not afraid to say the don't know but will always find the solution

It was a great shopping experience. The staff are capable and service is excellent. The manager is tops.

I am very much unhappy. I came there on Sunday to do the sim swap, firstly I had to deal with a lady who didn’t know what she was doing , she made me pay for a SIM card that she did not do a sim swap on, she told me to wait 3hrs before putting it in my phone and it said “No service” I’ve been trying to get hold of the customer care but there were no consultants, I called more than 5 times at the eastgate vodacom and they didn’t help me, my SIM card is still blocked, I can’t make any calls , I can’t connect to the internet. When I call them they say “they have another customer, they’ll call me back” but they’ve been saying that the whole day and they never call. Vodacom please do better cause I spent a LOT of airtime trying to get my issue fixed with no success! And there’s no reason for the consultants that give attitude cause they’re the ones at fault!
