This accommodation is perfectly situated between the two beaches of Buffels Bay. It has a beautiful sea view from a glass room overlooking both beaches and has a delightful lounge and bedroom areas (also with beautiful views). There are two small Weber braais and even a laundry room with an iron. With all of this going for it and at a reasonable price there are only a few reasons why this place does not (in my opinion) deserve a 5-star rating: Many of the dishes had to be rewashed, the bathrooms are very cramped and not very romantic and had no windows, and there was no personal contact from a manager, owner or agent (the keys were quickly dropped off by a cleaner after some confusion around where to get them). There was no coffee, tea, milk, shampoo, or any other such welcoming gestures. Finally, you need to be happy with parking your car outside next to the street (there is a nice tree under which you can park it though and it is very safe, many people seem to park their cars on the street and there are regular security patrols). These things considered, we still had a marvelous stay. Buffelsbei is a safe and beautifully romantic get-away and this is the perfectly positioned place from which to enjoy it to its full potential, even without considering the generously low price of staying here. This is still a gem to be considered if ever spending a holiday here.

Bit of a disappointment; no wifi, no towels, moldy bathrooms. And the rental agency dealing with the property not interested. We think it's expensive for the mediocre and seemingly disinterested space. The house is situated well in Buffalo Bay and the veranda does offer a nice view. But again, it's disappointing that the owners or agents don't even have towels in the apartment. It's also quite cramped for a family. And little privacy with high density build all around. For the price, too expensive.
