The Waterfront Pizza and Seafood Restaurant
The Waterfront Restaurant is full of seafood varieties and also best in owen Pizza too. It is located in just on the corner of the river which is flowing to the beautiful ocean beach. I love this place because of its beautiful view and very delicious hand made Pizza. They cook very nice fish and their salad is really amazing. The staff is really really helpful it is very neat and clean place fresh atmosphere all the time.

Very good food, fresh and tasty. Yes it does take time to get your food but everything is made fresh from scratch. Service is good, our waiter came to check on us several times. And the views are amazing.

This is a charming little eatery right on the bank of river. No 5 star amenities, but the food was 6 star. Absolutely perfect. Loved the sea food. Attention to detail. Friendly staff. I'm a food adventurer, so this blew me away.

Great views, the atmosphere is amazing, however please do better in terms of the service. There’s absolutely no need to have to wait 15 minutes to be at least seen by someone. At least explain when there’s a delay so that we understand. I didn’t enjoy my experience there at all. They even forgot to bring cutlery

Didn't like the Buffalo wings that much they were dry. I ate though. Seems carrot and baby marrow is a speciality here

Portion was so small I had to make a sandwich when I got back to camp. Medium hake was not even close to medium. Chip portion was like a small McDonald's fries. Vegetables were about one heaped table spoon. Tiny in total. Beer is over the norm also. Considering there's only a couple of places in town I'm surprised. One of the most expensive meals out I've had in a while and I was extremely disappointed. Nice place let down severely by what should be the talk of the town. Fish!

Not great! Over priced, waited quite long for our food and the pizza base was very soggy. Not worth the price we paid. Quite dead for a Friday night on pay day weekend. Not many options in Port Saint Johns but this wasn’t ideal

This is a very pleasant restaurant situated on the banks of the Mzimvubu River, and probably one of the nicest in Port St John's.Presumably this little town doesn't generate enough patronage outside of the main tourist season to warrant hiring more staff, and consequently your orders are likely to take some time to arrive.The milkshakes are nice enough but there's a a distinct gooeyness to the texture rather than a simple creamy thickness, and an odd artificial(?) sweetner taste behind the main flavour.The starters and mains were certainly delicious: we ordered the prawn tails and fried halloumi for starters; followed by a seafood platter and halloumi burger for main course. The fish was very nice (though patience is required with bones), and I had no complaints with the anything on the plate.Visited on 4th of July 2022.(the playlist on this particular evening was exclusively Ed Sheeran)

There are no better pizza makers in the entire SA!!! WOOOOW! And the best part is, they LOVE ALL DOGS!!! Awesome people. We will come back every day!
