Terrible attitude from the manager Ben.A gift we wanted to return due to a defect (never been used). Ben was completely dismissive of an exchange we wanted to do because we didn’t have the receipt, (as stated it was a gift and we did not want to tell our friend that we needed to return it due to the defect)Literally rude as we walked in and asked about the exchangesWhen leaving with no assistance nor any attempt to assist we noticed another product on the shelve (see posted image) with a defect, I guess it’s a common issue with their products.

I would like to commend Engelas customer service. She went above and beyond for us.I had a Breville Barista Express that was 2 months past its warranty period.It started giving me problems so I sent it in to be repaired. After waiting 6 weeks to get it back (that is the standard waiting time for Breville), it worked for about a week before giving problems again.After calling Engela to let her know that it was giving problems, expecting to be told to bring it in to be repaired again, she said that she would replace it for a brand new machine!I’ve never experienced customer service like that before. She was not obligated to replace the machine, and yet she did. I am very grateful for that. I am now able to enjoy my delicious morning cappuccino again :)Really impressed with her customer service. @Home will always be my Go-To store from now on!

Unhelpful, unfriendly, arrogant manager. Rather support someone else that value you as a customer. Bought a knife set. One knife broke and had to return it. @Home never gave my slip back. Now the second set also has a broken knife and @home even with all their tags on refuse to exchange it.

Really disappointing experience! Went to exchange a Christmas gift with the original slip on hand. After having explained that the items I wanted to exchange was a gift and identifying the items I would like to get in their place the shop assistant credited the total slip amount to the card of the purchaser. Neither the purchaser or their card was present at the time the refund was processed. I was then asked to pay for the items I wanted to take in exchange for those returned.I explained that surely a gift voucher should have been issued so that I could still get a Christmas gift from @home but was instead told that this is not possible. It simply isn't an option @home offers. I advised that competitor stores such as Woolworths would most certainly have given me a gift voucher to allow me to purchase other items in their store but was laughed at.I took the situation up with the floor manager who told me that I should've been issued with a gift voucher but there is nothing that could be done now. The only think to do now is to ask the person who bought me the gift to pay the money into my account or come make another purchase. This was a gift from someone who lives far from the city and asking them to make that trip again after having been so generous already is just not etiquette.

Great service from @home, we purchased a dining table and sales consultant was so helpful. We waited 2 weeks for delivery but they phoned us twice to keep us up to date with delivery. Just received the table and couldn't be more satisfied.

I’ve been waiting for our coffee machine to be returned for 3 months. Still waiting.Trying to phone the store to talk to Engela, but no one answers. My patience is wearing thin now. Incredible that nobody picks up the phone nor gives clarity on the process.

Me and my friend had the most embarrassing and humiliating experience ever at the store on Sunday 12th March 2023, having the mall securities escorting us from another shop to @homelivingspace for being suspected of shoplifting by one of the employees at the store and him making all unfounded accusations

I have been waiting for 2 weeks to receive any form of an update (including the repair quote) since I dropped off a double digit-thousand Rand coffee machine for repairs. All of the store's telephone lines do not work, and their website host, Bash, are unable to assist with anything despite my having a return reference number. I will have no choice but to visit the store in person again merely to get an update on my return - utterly unprofessional and a far cry from dealing with a high-end store on high-end goods.

I would like to compliment one of your sales consultants at Table Bay Mall, Shivania. She is truly the most professional and helpful person. Originally when I bought duvets, inners, bedding etc, I was lucky to be helped by her. Since then, every time I shop there, I only deal with her. Shivania is friendly, energetic, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. She deserves to be recognised for the value she gives your store.
