Poor service. Branch Manager is a disgrace to checkers and extremely rude. Countless complaints about him. He needs to be demoted and someone with correct customer service and management skills should get the position.

There are thee other supermarkets within a 5km radius from Checkers Nahoon. In terms of price, convenience and service, this outlet beats them all.The only challenge with this outlet is on site parking on busy days, especially weekends.

What a convenient Store. I love them for their specials on the past weekend. I'm heartbroken i couldn't get a cartoon of 60 eggs.

This is hard, because I really love this shop, however, the biltong we bought was more dry than the kalahari desert. It wasn't spiced well, and nearly choked me to death. The only time it tasted remotely better was when I was extremely drunk. Highly do not recommend!!!

Wrongly labelled Checkers Vincent". It was Checkers right across the High Court in Makhanda (Grahamstown). Good business and mostly cooperative staff. Just that the teller was totally unaware that there was a sign board right above saying "DISABLED" and did not act accordingly."

It's a lovely large store with very cute and unique item's I don't find at the other local stores. Their bakery selection is amazing. Prepacked item's from the fridges are just so convenient. The schlep here is, the lack of floor staff available and ready to assist customers. Their tills are also a nightmare, extremely slow and the ques are always long.
