Awesome course, very nice people. Definitely learnt a lot of skills I will never forget and prepared to take on the world of bartending one country at a time.

Was an amazing cource. I learned a large amount about bartending in a small period of time and I now feel confident in myself to make drinks, Cocktails and understand lingo used in bars . I would recommend this school to anyone looking to learn about bartending . The high level of skill by all the instructors is also extremely helpful and gives a sense of trust in them and that you are learning the right things.

Being at Shaker was truly an amazing experience! The bartending course was so much fun and our instructor Anil made the whole experience amazing ! If you want to have a truly fun experience while learning at the same time, Shaker is the place to go ! I highly recommend it.

As the leading bar school in SA, Shaker was the obvious first choice for our son who will be joining us on our new (ad)venture as Publicans in the UK. I’m delighted to say they did not disappoint! We selected the Gold Package as it includes an international certification and, as a bonus, an introductory Barista course which will definitely come in handy in a pub setting! From Day 1 our son thrived, thoroughly enjoying the entire experience! (And so did we as we got to taste a selection of the drinks he’d learned to make.) It must be noted that he has a learning disability so was very nervous about what to expect from the course. From the beginning, the instructors went out of their way to ease his anxiety and to ensure his success. The joy and excitement on his face when he returned home after the final exam, proudly waving his certificate is a memory that will last a long time! I cannot recommend Shaker highly enough and we plan on signing up for more courses for both ourselves and our staff when in the UK.

The best and most professional Bar School in the industry. The trainers are of top quality and always goes beyond the call of duty for their students. Getting information of the courses offered has never been so easy.Its just an amazing Bar school by far!!

I absolutely loved this course. Everyone was so friendly, it was fun and enlightening. There was help 24/7 when I found it difficult or struggled. The course leaders were incredible. They are very passionate and enthusiastic people that work around Shaker and they all wanted us to do our best and helped us achieve our full potential. I felt very educated after the course. I had an amazing time.

Quality education in a cosy, comfortable setting! You’ll feel at home the moment you arrive. The barista and bartending training courses are led by experts, however it would be good to see the school advocating for recycling practices and incorporating sustainable solutions — too many ingredients are wasted.

We had a fantastic time at Shaker Bar School Cape Town. Xola was very knowledgeable and did a great job presenting the Masterclass. The vibe was awesome and fun and we would definitely go back and do it again. Thanks Xola and Shaker Bar School! Definitely a must do.
