The rock is sharp and slippery, many people got cut including myself. No lifeguard patrolling the area and hard to get help for Band-Aid.Careful when there are boats passing through as they create waves that push you to the jagged rock.Recommended to bring water shoes, diving gloves and possibly wet suit.

I hope Council will be checking these reviews. BRILLIANT idea but a little ill conceived / lawsuit waiting to happen. Access to and exit from water varies by the tide (and boat wash). The edge is constructed from large sandstone blocks with sections of slippery moss and sharp oysters. Steps / ramp would be a great idea. Enjoy, it's beautiful, but take care. No running or jumping!""

Came 6:30am on the 26th January to avoid the crowds. Water was beautiful, even without the sun on the Cove. Kelp all over the floor, oysters on the rocks (careful they're sharp) and also algae (slippery). Shoals of tiny fish by the shark net, and larger fish swimming about. Gorgeous experience.

Really nice spot to have a dip or just chill in the shade if you can get some, it gets very busy there on a nice day tho, the rocks are slippery and several people slipped while i was there, the kids have a high spot they can jump off in to relatively deep water, come prepared tho as no shops nearby.

A puddle surrounded by grim corporate parkland. If you want to feel like you're swimming in the murk of the harbor while also somehow being in the courtyard of a Meriton apartment complex this is a good spot I guess. The actual swimmable area is roughly the size of a basketball court, and over-crowded. Would be a poor choice and possibly dangerous for small children as there's no sloping entry to the water, only slippery rock cubes.Go if you're close and desperate for a swim. If you're far away choose literally any real beach or swimming pool instead.

Such a unique and iconic location to have a rock pool within Sydney harbour and so close to the CBD and harbor bridge. Every Australian and visitor needs to visit and swim here.Toilets are within 30m and plenty of space for picnics too.

Great swimming location with shark net, public shower and large stand stone rocks to sit on. Water was warm with very gentle waves. There is also a jetty you can jump off from into the water

Seriously impressed. I knew there was a shower here to wash off after a swim. However, there are also bathrooms here to use. The rocks are a bit slippery when getting in and out of the water... and yes, there is some seaweed. At least there is a shark net so you feel safe swimming here.

Beautiful spot, however, I agree that it requires a ramp/steps and wear protective rubber shoes
