Engen Brackenview Service

Dissapointed in how well trained their staff is. Went there this morning to put oil in my vehicle and there were actually two guys helping me. Could you believe that between the two of them THEY MANAGED TO PUT TWO PINTS OF OIL INTO MY WATER TANK. Thanks to their mistake I spent the day next to the highway with a clogged system and lost out and valuable work. I would expect them to try remedy the situation as this will end up costing me thousands to fix due to their staff's incompetence. Seriously dissapointed...

This garage has a lovely bakery and a Woolworths foodstop.The staff are always friendly and helpful as well as the managers which are always willing to assist.

The service in this place is awesome. The staff and owners always greet and are always friendly. Even though they are busy they are on the ball. The service station and woolworths is always stocked with quality. Staff at the petrol pumps and in the shops are really awesome.

Some 3 years ago, in the early hours of the morning, I found my vehicle had a punctured tyre. I decided to go to this station for assistance. Upon arrival I was told by the staff that management doesn't allow them to assist with tyre changes. I offered to pay if that was the problem!Having only owned the bakkie for a week and having never changed a bakkies tyre before, I started to jack up the vehicle and subsequently removed the wheel. As I was about to fit the spare I realized the vehicle wasn't high enough as I had positioned the jack incorrectly.I then asked if it was possible to lend their jack but again was told that management would not allow this. I then approached the manager and he confirmed this. I was then in a real tough situation and proceeded to call some mates to come help and only after about a half an hour one of the staff came with a jack and proceeded to assist afterwhich I was very grateful.I however continued to support the station because I find the staff friendly and efficient.Then when Alberton experienced the blackout a week ago due to the transformer explosion, and no power for almost 2 days I went to the same station with plastic cans to fill with petrol to run my generator. The staff were unable to help again as management gave instructions that they may only fill Jerry cans. I understand the laws around this but when I approached management and asked them to bend the rules as it was an emergency they refused.I then realised that the management of this facility couldn't care less for the community supporting their business. I therefore now couldn't care less to support their arrogance any longer. God forbid I ever have to ask them for a drop of water in a drought.I have now had enough and would rather drive further, at more expense to go to other fuel stations than ever come to you again. I therefore will no longer support your station, car wash or food court. SHAME ON YOU!!I will also ensure I tell as many people as possible about your poor, shameless arrogance.GOOD RIDDENCE!

Pathetic, if I could give a zero I would shame. Waited for service for over 20 minutes today. Had to get out of the car to ask if I could be assisted or not yo pour petrol and also wanted to by gas. Cars were pull up and being served while they made me wait for what??? Only they know. I was told my gas bottle is not acceptable and cards do not work. The guy didn't even ask me if I'm going to pay cash for disiel or not. The other petrol attendant is assisting another d they using their cards to pay....hhayibo this guy acts like he owns the Engen and doing one a favor... I am so disgusted!!!!!

Good fueling station good service but their fault price is a but steep

A Enjen filling station in the central of Brackenhurst and Hennie Albert Road. Very convenient for the residents in the area traveling to or from work. Also close to the popular Bracken City Shopping Centre. It also has a very popular car Wash" for a good car wash. Great service but could become very busy. Also a great Woolworths outlet for a great sandwich on the run. Enjoy"

I went to buy bread and milk and they refused to accept my CC as payment. They informed me that management had instructed them that clients had to make a minimum payment....and that I would have to buy more products if I wanted to use my card ...I can't just buy a loaf of bread and 2L of milk. No problems when you buy groceries or petrol for a few thousand a month there ....then they happy to take my CC. I won't shop there ever again. Also the attendants are slow and unfriendly putting in petrol and act like they doing you a favor. Don't worry there is another Engen in De Waal Road, attendants are friendly, I know them all by name and the service is great! Won't be seeing this place any time soon!

Standing to get coffee 5 people in the shop non can help me at the coffee and pie department!!! Very poor service

Bought a few bags of wood here for our fireplace. When we opened the bags, the wood was found to be so wet that it was unusable. Your supplier is selling you green wood off trees that were still growing yesterday. R200 WASTED. I wont shop here again.
