Nkomazi Kruger Lodge & Spa

We really enjoyed our stay at Nkomazi Lodge and Spa. The Spa is amazing, ladies so helpful and ready to spoil us. Also very affordable. Restaurant was great, service just very slow. Swimming pools was a treat, kids loved it a lot.

If you are planning going on holiday to rest from the buzzle of City Life; don’t choose this place as your destination of choice. You have to do a lot of research and don’t book in a hurry just by reading “Kruger” on the name of the hotel. We slept at Room C2, on the 20 Oct 2022.The hotel is next to N4 to Maputo, one doesn’t sleep at night, the trucks disturbs ones peace every minute, every now and then the train also pass, it’s just a menace. Driving to Kruger National Park to check the animals is also a very long drive.We booked for 4 nights but the noise was unbearable and therefore had to check out the next day, mind you before we even slept on our first night (20 Oct) we complained about the noise and asked to cancel our booking but the management didn’t take it.The next day we had to leave because the noise was so unbearable and we had to forfeit our money, but that was better than staying for the whole duration being miserable.We ended up booking at Mdluli Safari Lodge for the other days, the place was awesome and we don’t regret the choice we made, after all; Peace of Mind was what we were looking for not the noise of the trucks and trains.

STAFF are super friendly and helpful!UNITS/ROOMS are spacious and neat (although the floors could do with a good wash).GAME DRIVE - we paid for a guided game drive and it was magical!RESTAURANT is quite average and although we requestwd a vegetarian option we'll in advance when making the booking months ago, the chef came offered me either bangers and chicken schnitzel and she admitted she had no idea what a vegetarian diet is - I ended up having a side order of fries as there was not a single vegetarian meal option :(

Oh this place is magical. Beautiful!! For there fact that everything was in one place was a bonus. Horse riding. Boat paddling . The restaurant looks beautiful close to swimming pools perfect for a summer day. They also have friendly staff from reception all the way to the spa... amazing experience i must say

Great location and facilities but horrible hospitality. Only Grace the receptionist was welcoming everyone else around the property treated us as though us being there was a bad thing. It was as if they were told not to speak to us ….weird. But the place is beautiful just wish they would ask the staff to be more welcoming and friendly.

What an experience .... upon arrival we were met by the friendly staff and an exceptional receptionist, we were treated like Royalties. I would like to thank the staff for their ecceptional hospitality. It was quiet an experience

The hotel offers a 5 star experience. It's beauty and tranquility cannot be matched. We went as a group for training and we were treated like royalty. We went on a game drive and later on treated to a lovely bonfire dinner.

Excellent and friendly staff great menu beautiful restaurant with best coffee in town. The spa was amazing according to my wife and daughter's

Enjoyed myself 100 percent bring a yoga mat and a book .Peaceful and serene

Beautiful accommodation in a not so ideal location. Service and food was not pleasant.
