I rented a place through Obs Realty for three years and the service was excellent. My rent was lowered over covid, Rosa catered to all my requests and the deposit was paid back in full. Couldn't have asked for a better agent.

I would've given zero stars but there wasn't that option. I have never met anyone as rude and unprofessional in my entire life as Rosa Lourens who apparently is one of the owners of this establishment. From the very beginning, her lack of professionalism was clearly evident with no remorse or apology.Starting with having to move into a FILTHY house that hadn't been cleaned in what looked like years after she told me she would have it cleaned which surely is the realtors job - looking after a property and preparing it for a new resident.The house was originally three thousand rand more expensive a month but due to the complete state of disrepair, I rented it for cheaper. I only moved in on the guarantee that the wooden floors in the lounge area would be repaired as they were literally cracking under foot and it was like walking on a trampoline. That took a year and a half to get done.Emails not answered, messages not answered. Phone calls ignored.We were not sent water and utility bills for months and then received an email from Rosa telling us to pay- what were we supposed to pay? Our emails and requests for the water bills were not answered.More disgusting unprofessionalism too numerous to mention followed. Fast forward to us leaving. Lady Rosa walks in without greeting, grunting like an animal insteas and then proceeds to take off money from our deposit without giving us any breakdown of how that amount was finalized. More ignored calls and emails. Rosa put the phone down on my partner. I am STILL waiting for an explanation of how that amount was rreached. I was sent an excel spreadsheet of numbers and dates but no explanation followed. I am still waiting to see what my interest on my deposit was.I am planning on taking this matter further to the real estate ombudsman. Think very carefully about using the services of this realtor. Home is supposed to be a stress free environment. Work with people who actually take pride in what they do and have ethics and morals and who are not in it just for the money

What a wonderful chap that Ronald is. Gave him a call for a viewing of one of the homes but he is so busy that he couldn't have time to chat.Luckily there is another chap that I could have called and he helped me in 20min get a viewing at the time that suits me best.Botten line is don't bother Ronald when someone else can help
