Great menu, with an amazing selection of components for most items on the menu (eg: meat options such as wors, bacon, ham, pork sausage, etc). Most meals coming out of the kitchen looked good, however, I had scrambled egg which I wouldn't recommend as it was dry & rather tasteless. Lovely, quiet & cosy atmosphere.Something I did appreciate, which not many restaurants do nowadays, was to show the VAT amount on the bill. So if you are adding 15% tip on your bill, this calculation is done for you. Also, your service tip is then based only on the food amount .... whereas if you calculate the tip on the total, are also tipping on the VAT. Just a small point.

Parents can bring their children to play while enjoying a delicious, affordable meal inside or outside of The Farmhouse. There is a swingset and one person can look after their children while the other can enjoy their date with the children. There is a variety of farmhouse items like jams, classic sweets and kitchen utensils. Frozen soups and meals can be purchased at a very affordable price and they are definitely worth it

I love this place!! They have single tables with a view. Your back facing the restaurant so you don't have to make eye contact with a restaurant full of people!

Warm atmosphere and friendly staff makes up for the average meals. Also a bit on the expensive side but they have free wifi so there is that. I would say a nice place to stop for a coffee and doing some work.

Nice little coffee shop in the center of Somerset West. Service was ok and bacon and egg burger wasn’t bad. I have had better burgers though.

Very nice coffee shop. Light meals and frozen take away meals. Homemade jams and preserves. Good service and friendly staff. Can pop in just for a coffee.

we r semi regulars and usually enjoy it, today I think they forgotten about our order, it took extremely long and when we got it the fries was ice cold and rock hard, very disappointed
