Xiaomi Experience Store - Sandton City

Xiaomi Store is one of its kind in South Africa. The product range is amazing and each one offers some unique features. The power chargers for mobile is the hottest items at the store as the same is not included in IPhone or Samsung Galaxy phones. I really loved a lot of products that I want to own from this store. Not sure if Xiaomi fans (like me) out there know that the after sales service is almost non-existent. This Sandton store only does sales and not repairs - and has no idea where to have your product repaired. I have done some research and there is a repair centre in Jet Park, however you can only courier your product to them - what a nightmare. Ex-Fan :(

1st class service by all employees at the store. Had a very pleasant experience. Called several times and every time the staff were professional, answered all my queries promptly and helped me get the phone that I wanted. Would highly recommend buying products at the store and experiencing it for yourself. Special mention to Brian and Andrew. Thanks for the great service. Look forward to dealing with you in the near future.

The place is a joke. They never have stock of the item I need and staff don't understand, or know where the products in their store is.

I would give 0 stars if I could!I bought a phone from this store a week before Black Friday 2022, and asked the sales agent if I should wait a week and buy the phone on Black Friday. She assured me that Xiaomi does run any promotions on phones for Black Friday and said I should make the purchase immediately (which I did). A week later, the phone was discounted R3k.Additionally, the sales agent told me the phone came with a free screen replacement. A few months later, I had a minor crack on my screen and wanted the screen replaced. It turned out that the 'free' replacement is only valid in Europe. However, I still paid to have the screen fixed. Xiaomi happily took my money and phone, and then proceeded to delete all my data (to fix a screen). Not a word of warning or anything of the sort from the store management. Unfortunately, I had not backed up my data and lost precious priceless irreplaceable memories as a result.What really frustrates me is that the phone was fully functional before going in and if they had communicated properly, I would've backed my data up and could have avoided all of this.I understand the sales agents self interest in trying to sell a phone ASAP (however unprofessional) and can accept the misunderstanding (lie) in the sales pitch regarding the free screen replacement. However, the fact that they deleted everything on my phone without warning is unforgivable to me. I will not purchase Xiaomi products again and would not recommend it to anyone!

Not an official store from Xiaomi or Mi themselves. Still no flagships phones. South Africa will be always be behind. These guys could have brought the mi 11 ultra or mi 12S ultra but chose not to and bring in all the junk. The Xiaomi 12 is not a flagship and not worthy of being called a flagship. How do you guys plan on tackling major brands in SA and taking a market share of the cellphone industry when you'll bring in the mid range stuff? Wake up. I said it year after year in a comment on your Instagram page and still you'll turn a deaf ear. Bring the flagships in future and you'll have my support.

Don't waste your time. The guys inside are nice enough but even with their specials, buying from takealot or even miafrica is cheaper by hundreds. Also, so much is out of stock - I heard them say sorry that's out of stock" about four different products and I was in-store for like 3 minutes. Such. A. Disappointment."

Bought a Redmi Note 12 Pro+....Asked for a phone cover ..which they advertise all over.. n they don't even keep accessories for it . If Xiaomi themselves don't have the stock for there phones ..then I don't know

Smart appliances that are affordable. Love their products. Already made one purchase and came back for more. Will be visiting often.
