Such a lovely hidden gem in a serene place. We were served by Ike who was very warm and welcoming. The food exceeded our expectations, we chose different dishes and they were both for the gods! We throroughly enjoyed our evening and would definitely recommend the Kraal Restaurant.

The place is really lovely. The ambience, the staff and the kiddies area are all really great.The food was a bit of a letdown. The starter portions are reasonable. We ordered chicken livers, mussels and the chicken wings. They were all just okay, nothing spectacular. For mains we got the Mexicana pizza, Rump steak and the kiddies Regina pizza.The steak was overdone, we requested it to be medium - well but it came out hard.. The manager offered a sauce to with it saying that medium-well is dry and hard because the steak is thin. The pizza was bland.. Nothing to it.Our waitress was oh so sweet, her name is KB and she really made the experience a great one.

We stayed at the hotel for a few nights, and had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The service is probably the best I've experienced yet. Dinner is quite pricey, but the quality of the food was great. Breakfast was good, and overall good value too, although the chocolate croissant was a real disappointment.

Up market restaurant in the south, nestled between the hills. You feel a mile away from the noise of the big city, surrounded by nature. Sitting outside, enjoying the sun and blue sky is always a treat. Waiter was attentive and brought something for the bees. Food was well prepared and tasty. Price was on the expensive side, but understandable due to location and setting. Human sun dial was great.

My partner and I went here for my birthday. It was absolutely gorgeous, chilled and amazing. The food was really really good and the portions are huge, tasty and worth the price. Our waitress Yonela was incredible. I’ve already recommended the place to my family and friends. Will definitely be visiting again, this might be a regular spot of ours from now on. Keep it up.

A Warm welcome from friendly staff made us feel at home from the moment we entered Kraal Restaurant. The atmosphere is luxurious African and relaxed. The service was excellent. The table waiter as well as other staff are attentive and immediately sense when you need something. The extensive menu caters for a wide variety of tastes. Fine dining with exquisite food plating, mouthwatering, delicious and flavourful dishes. Clean, neat and well maintained restrooms. Beautiful garden trails and a huge playground for the kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Well worth the drive.

On Saturday 10/09/2022 I hosted a surprise birthday lunch for my partner. A special thank you to Melissa for being involved from the early stages of the planning to the actual day and making it so special.Few things that really stood out for me.Deco: We got the best table with the most amazing view. The table was nicely set up, lightning in the room so perfect as well as flowers from the ceiling, pity I cant upload a video.Food: What is a party without food, well we had the best food, with so many options to choose from their set menu. Starters were scrumptious, the main portions were so big I was so full I could barely sit. The dessert were nicely plated and well balanced in terms of the sweetness.Waiter: What am amazing gentleman Sky was. Always made sure he got everyone's order right and on time. When we went to take pictures he kindly came to let us know that our meals were ready for us to go back and indulge. Thank you so much for making every guest feel important, your service is remarkable.Overall service: I was highly satisfied with the service I got, this place is indeed a gem, you clearly see the team effort and theattention that goes into every little detail.For your next event, please reserve yourself a table at this establishment. Dinner was great. Breakfast today at the kraal restuarant was a disaster. We waited more the 1.5 hours for our main meals to arrive. I ordered the salmon scramble the only item that needed to be prepared was the egg for that dish but it took forever.Eventually when it did come it was the wrong meal and I had to wait for the right meal. The chocolate croissant was not fresh. By the time I got my correct meal I was past my hunger.
