Telkom Sandton Express

This branch needs to train their staff on telephone etiquette, their conversational skills over the phone are shocking especially for a flagship branch in Sandton, they have definitely lost me as a customer. I would not do business with them.

What a useless operation. They cannot take a payment. My mother was directed to go to Checkers to make a payment and then to come back 3 days later so that they can verify it is paid before she can cancel her account which she has not used i about a year. What a joke... thank goodness we will never need telkom in our lives again.

I pre-ordered the s23 for the tablet deal in February. It's April and I've still haven't gotten anything. I won't be getting the tablet anymore aswell. Don't go here if you value your time and money

Absolutely shocking, no one answers the phone you can’t get a hold of anyone on the accounts department. If only there was a rating lower than one, such a useless service provider.

I had the worst experience with them about 2 weeks ago. I went in to return a phone after 9 days of use as it wasn't to my satisfaction. It was on contract and according to telkom t&c's, you have up to 14 days to return a faulty device. The manager gave me a hard time and so fid the staff members who revived me at the door. They were rude & arrogant until I got my lawyer on the phone. Then the manager refused to speak to my lawyer but then decided they will return the phone. Know your rights and stick by them. Don't let people treat you bad. Definitely will never visit this store again

Excellent service from Patrick that answered my call in seconds to Peter who welcomed me at the door and finally The perfect consultant Josiah who made my telkom experience a joy. Thanks guys for exceeding my expectations 5 stars to you all . Honestly skip the fourways branch not worth it and head over to Sandton

Shocking customer service. Agent was meant to cancel a business contract and open a private contract. Agent received all the necessary paperwork and did not do this and we were still being billed every-month for the business contract. When i went back to enquire the agent did not take any responsibility and said I am lying and did not submit anything. Yet she was able to open a new contract to take money from me

So Martha did get back to me n sorted everything out. Turns out she had an unforseen personal problem and was not at work for some time. Excellent feedback and follow up from her once she was back at work.Terrible after sales service. Very quick to sell/upgrade your contract then promises of calling you to get the phone up and running and numbers ported never happens. LANDLINE JUST RINGS!!!! no one ever answers.Still waiting for Martha Mutalane to get back to me on the 4 contracts I have upgraded! She provided an email address - I emailed twice and NO RESPONSE!!!! Does she even check her emails????Also have an issue with a name linked to my ID ever since I first took out contracts with them!!! fighting this battle for over 3 years and they cannot resolve. Beware consumers..... they have your ID details and just provide contracts to others using your details!!!!!The managers response about trying to do better in future seems to be an automated response - all the negative reviews get this response!!! What exactly does the branch do to make sure that the customer's grievances are addressed - that is the big question!!! Not doing better in future!! put right what is wrong first before striving to do better in future and make sure that the same service issues do not arise in future!!!!

Terrible service today from the Tech service guy 17 May 2022, first he doesn’t even acknowledge that I am standing In-front of him,Because he is too busy on his phone, doesn’t greet, a minute maybe goes by he decides to make a call , still hasn’t greeted or acknowledged me.Once his done with his call he says I will be with you now and walks out of the store. leaving me there.I will never in my life recommend Sandton City Telkom, I will rather drive all the way to Cresta to get helped.

Waited for almost an hour from 17:19 to 18:10There were only 2 consultants in the store at some point, and they were busy with the same clients since I arrived. The only reason I waited this long was because Nombuso kept trying her best to get someone to assist.
