I would highly recommend Carlo to anyone in need of a mechanic. He was incredibly helpful, professional, went the extra mile and always kept me informed about any progress. I will definitely be using his services again.

Carlo was really a life saver. Was advised by another mechanic to open my engine and it could possibly cost me R16k. Got a second opinion from him and it only cost me R3,800. Wasn’t the engine at all.I will definitely do business with him in future. Very difficult to get someone to trust with your vehicle.

If you need assistance, Carlo from Cape Auto Services is NOT your guy. Spoke to him on Monday morning to sort out a gear linkage problem I had. He confirmed that he would come in the afternoon, he then postponed to the next day which was not a problem as he explained their schedule was tight that day. I asked him to come asap on Tuesday and he confirmed that he'll be there by 11am. He only arrived after 2pm...3 hours later. He looked at the car and confirmed what I told him what the problem and was asked about his R150 call out fee. He said he would get the parts price and availability from his supplier that afternoon but then conveniently at 5:55pm his supplier couldn't manage to get the price before they closed. Most reputable spare parts supplier have a database which they search for parts on...a phone call for parts wouldn't last longer than 5mins... The next morning I got a Whatsapp from Carlo stating the part price is R2,750. I requested the quote so that i could pay the supplier but have been ignored ever since. All in all if you are willing to deal with an unreliable, shady person who's looking to pull a fast 1 over you and make a quick R150 then Carlo is your guy. I wouldn't recommend to him anyone.

I was in such a state to have our only car not starting. I called in the morning, had a call out for diagnostics the same day and battery replaced. Still some other issues with the car that were detected which we will definitely be fixing through Cape Auto Repair. As a female, you hate going to the mechanic because you’re being swindled, there was no deception, full transparency and explanation of everything that was happening. And it’s a MOBILE SERVICE, How super convenient. Definitely definitely definitely recommend.

His punctuality with quotes and actual repairs are exceptional. He goes the extra mile, I drive a Mitsubishi, the parts are exorbitant and to top it, needs to be ordered from Japan. Very happy with the service I received. My engine had been making a noise for few weeks and I was quite worried. Carlo came out to my house and diagnosed my car on the spot. He gave me a very clear and concise explanation of what was wrong and was very upfront with me regarding the steps that needed to be taken to repair the car. Something very rare to find in a mechanic! Will certainly be recommending him and his services in the future.

I can really and honestly say, that Carlo will go very very far, with gaining more and more customers, as he is very knowledgeable and most importantly very transparent, thus kept me up to date with the progress of my car.
