Art Guest House Accommodation

Liza & the 3 Wise men visited for a 1 night sleepover. Great reception and recommendations on where to go to visit the local area. Enjoyed our stay, the braai and local hospitality.

This place is a real gem if you looking for seclusion..nestled amongst a quiet residential area..picture perfect artistry lovely decor the owner is an artist..neat & clean get up & go..reasonable rates..they serve breakfast lunch supper on request @ additional cost..hospitality outstanding..within near distances of Papendorp Doringbaai Strandfontein & the surrounds of wine farms(offering wine tasting)thats the hidden gem on this coast namely the wine & seafood of course..beautiful scenery & so much more..

I am not going to alaborate on this room. The house is beautiful with all emeneties, nice plunger coffee, massive TV., fridge and freezer. Most beautiful garden to sit in and enjoy, the owner and her assistant were very friendly. Sorry it stopped their for us, we were not impressed with the room, although you have quite a few rooms. Please think of your guest too, rather say No" we not a petfriendly establishment

First time up the West Coast" to Lutzville and we really did find a gem of Guest House. Our room was perfect...clean

I was invited to visit The Art Guest House. I was half expecting,,, well, not sure what. I arrived here, and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly way I was greeted and accepted by the guest house owner, Hilda Vermeulen. I was ushered to my room after a very brief introduction. My room was artistically designed, with a flair of beauty and genius. It was comfortable with all the necessaries. At this point, all I was interested was to get into bed and sleep. There was ample bedding, and slept like a baby in this comfortable warm bed.The next morning, after breakfast, I visited the winery, the mall, the golf course, the coastal town Strandfontein and Dooringbaai. I had coffee at the nursery. I ran out of time to visit all the places that I want to. I came back to relax in this artistic environment. That evening I lit a fire, and put a rack of ribs on the fire. The atmosphere was amazing in this braai area under the immaculate thatch lapa. I was actually reluctant to leave the next morning, wanting to stay on just one more day. I was served a delicious breakfast just before leaving. I can highly recommend this exquisite guest house.

Doesn't even deserve a star...omg never again.Dirty towels bed linen dirty...no tissue and didnt feel safe at all. No beauty outside or inside. Disappointed.

A lovely place decorated personally and beautifully by Hilde and her family. Highly recommended for the hospitality.
