We enjoyed our stay there. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Roads were good. The wildlife seemed a bit skittish. Don't know if it has something to do with the vulture restaurant. We drove to the vulture breeding colony on the top of the mountain. The road had a lot of thorn bushes that scratched the vehicles badly, but it was worth it. It definitely is something to see. The fig tree forest is a must!

Great small reserve. Beautiful trees. No elephants. Great roads but you need a 4wd. Biggest vulture colony.

GREAT place to camp. Basic site but with flushing toilets and a donkey for hot water. Will be back.

Really nice campsite. Game drive wasn't the best but I think we went the wrong time of year?

The campsites is beautiful with lovely trees but unfortunately the animals were not at ease because of hunting activities. Buffulo were hunted.on the 23rd of September 2021. At the vulture restaurant was no feeding going on for long time.

Blouberg Nature Reserve is truly a gem. Travelling from Vivo, use the first entrance. There is currently an error with the location of the main entrance gate on Google maps. We stayed at Molope campsite. There are 6 private campsites all with huge Weeping Boer Bean trees offering shade. The ablution facilities are basic but clean and well maintained. There is no power in the camp. Hot water is provided by donkey and lights at the bathrooms by solar power. After all the rain, the park was lush, so visibility was not great and we did not see as many animals as we had hoped for. The beauty of the surroundings, the mountains, the birds and the magnificent trees more than made up for it. Take note that the 4x4 route to the vulture breeding area is rocky in parts and that the drive takes longer than expected - plan accordingly. It's well worth a visit.
