This was one spectacular experience. Niece wedding hosted here incredible fairytale wedding set in a garden that left everyone mesmerized and peaceful.

A fabulous stay! Gina is divine - welcoming, lots of fun, and a great hostess. The property is gorgeous! Wow! The attention to detail of the small things also blew me away - the stunning silver tea sets, the decor, the art. It’s the only place I’ll stay in Joburg!

Absolutely Fabulous! Not you average Guesthouse. Gina really makes your stay feel like you are part of the family. The best part of my stay is getting back from a days work, and Gina has prepared the most amazing Dinner. The food is out of this world! Highly recommended

Absolutely LOVED my stay at the great gatsby. Gina was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean and smelled great constantly which is a big plus for me. Lindiwe and her husband (care takers) were always willing to respond to my texts and make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. Would 100% be staying there again!

Had a really great time, was kindly upgraded to the bachelor pad which was a beautiful room, we stayed for one night but could definitely have stayed for longer. Everything was clean and tidy and the property is stunning.

What an absulte pleasure it was to stay at this gorgeous Art Deco B&B mansion. I was delighted by the attention to detail; all the beautiful art, antiques and furniture of a glamourous bygone age made me feel like a million bucks. So luxurious, especially since my charming and gracious host, Gina, so kindly upgraded me to the Boudoir". What an unexpected treat! The breakfast was excellent and the location perfectly central for my needs. Outstanding accommodation

A different experience from the hotel. You will feel like it's a home away from home. I enjoyed the people I met here especially the owner who is a wonderful host and as interesting to visit with as the travelers she hosts. It was truly special. Also there is a sweet little dog named Bella to greet you.

We stayed here for a work trip and it was the perfect place to return to after a long day out in the field! The space was beautiful, full of character, immaculate and well-maintained. The self-catering coach house was well-equipped and private with enough space to work as well. Gina, the owner, was a great host and very welcoming. Highly recommended if you want a quiet, magnificent retreat in the middle of Johannesburg.
