Thoroughly relaxed in this sleepy town due to this gem of a guesthouse we slept over for a day. By far worth the trouble to sleep over here if looking for accommodation in the area. Owners are very friendly and helpful and have been in the area for many years. You are certain to feel completely relaxed, at ease and at home at this stunning guesthouse.

I stayed here in September 2022. The hosts were very welcoming- nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the food was very good. Would happily stay with Jan and Theresa again.

We arrived in De Rust late at night. This was the only place to assist us at that time. The hosts were very welcoming, Jan is very Friendly and very helpfull. The room is very beautiful and is very clean and comfortable. Would happily stay here again. Would recommend to anyone passing here!

You will be more than satisfied with the hospitality of Theresa and Jan, the cleanliness and beauty of this lodge. Such peaceful stay. Beautifully maintained garden. The hosts are very accommodating and the comfort of their guests is a priority for them. We had an incredible stay at Housemartin during the KKNK.

Thank you so much for accepting us at such short notice! We had a lovely stay! The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable and made sure we were ok (our car broke down in the karoo). Lovely scenery and very comfortable accommodation

Jan and Theresa are the most gracious hosts and went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. It was my husband's birthday and Theresa made an amazing dinner just for us. House Martin is immaculately maintaned and the rooms are spotless and beautifully furnished. Thank you Jan and Theresa for making our stay so special.

Other than its a beautiful guest lodge in a beautiful part of SA, Jan & Theresa drove 70 km to bring me my passport which I had left in the room mistakenly, which helped me to get to the airport on time for a flight. Amazing kindness shown to a stranger, the world needs more Jan's & Theresa's. (Sorry for the late review guys!)

Lovely bnb, you can tell it's well run. Clean and organized rooms.Only con, is that it's abit noisy being on the main road.
