Davidson's Discount Boards

Absolutely useless... Called the day before to confirm they had melamine samples in store of all colours indicated on their website (which should be expected anyway). Drove 45min the following morning only to be served by a staff member that had absolutely no idea what was going on or where the samples were. They could only find 1 of the 10 different samples I was looking for. Do not waste your time here. It is 'discount' for a reason. Because so is the service required... Waste of time and petrol. Rather spend your time with 'The Board Store' - far better service!!

Walked into the place and nobody seemed interested in us so someone from the storeroom came to help us. So within 15minutes we were in and out. Pity I had to drive from Sunningdale which took me 30 minutes to get there what a waste of time. Never see me again

The best place to buy boards etc.. Excellent service from all their staff. Been buying there for years.. Very good prices

I had kitchen cupboard installed in 2019, the doors by the kitchen sink started to peel from the bottom and I'm told ts water damage , how can Supa wood high gloss be so inferior, my previous cupboards that were 20 years old never gave this problem.Davidsons manager in the factory turned me away with I can't fix this problem for you.

I went to the show room, which looks neat i have to admit.The service however is worst i have ever experienced by far.waited 15 minutes on a coach for a salesperson to help, eventually got called by an extremely dismissive lady (name eludes me).i ask if i can be helped with a cutting list (with a set of drawings in hand).lady hands me their clear cutting list sheet, tells me to fill it and come back to her.Then i ask if my boards can have some edges mitre cut, it seems i have overstayed my welcome at this point. she refers me to someone else and this lady couldnt even bother to talk...looks at me waiting to explain the whole situation and hands me a cutting list sheet again.i took all my stuff, then emailed everything from my office along with drawings. received a reply a full day later only to tell me they do not work off drawings!

I was promised my delivery for the next morning latest as I need it for an event and paid promptly after receiving confirmation. The order was never delivered. I spend 30 minutes phoning Davidsons Board and nobody wanted to deal with it or bothered to phone me back. I phoned 8th times without any success in getting help. Charmaine eventually answered and promptly tells me to stop complaining as she is very busy.

Friendly staff when you come in, quite knowledgeable.I needed a backing for my cupboard and needed it cut to size, a single board that I was told would take 24-48 hours.I got it 5 days later and had to call to find out progress as they did not call me at all.

After seeing all the bad service reviews, I don't see why nothing has changed. By far the worst customer service I have experienced!! Pity its the best place for boards, so one is kind of forced to go there. Walked in, wasn't greeted by reception, one sales lady point blank ignored my husband. The guy we asked for help was so morbid it was off putting. If we weren't desperate we would have just walked out.

Walked in , browsed, not a single person looked at us, they managed to walk past while we discussing colours and texture.Then we asked for help, we were sent to three front desks Where one couldn't help as she only deals with cutting boards And again no one made eye contact. We then walked out as we walked we heard someone say... there they leaving" only to be met outside by another lady saying" they said I must ask if you need help"....so we just stood inside cause we it was fun? And you running after us on instruction to help is way worse than ignoring us.Horrible horrif service I won't go there and won't recommend anyone else goes especially the branch in ottery"
