Lovely beach for those who want to lie in the water and bob around without being pulverized by the waves. Safe for kids and deep enough so that adults don't feel too ridiculous in the pool. Can get quite exciting at spring high tide. At spring low tide there are lots of rock pools to explore nearby.

The absolute beach beach to bring children. Build sandcastles, shallow swimming areas for toddlers, rock pools for exploring. The swimming area is sheltered by rocks so its not totally open to the ocean. Bring your own umbrella, towels and beach chairs to sit and relax.

What a great little beach! Rock pools for the kids to explore, and a narrow beach with great waves, and zero undertow. Felt so safe despite being rolled by waves. No amenities nearby, so bring own food n drink.

Our family just loves Granny's pool. It's always clean, and during low tide very safe for little kids to enjoy swimming in the ocean. There is however, no wheelchair access to this beach, only stairs.

Lovely clean beach, beautiful rock pools child friendly, not that great for boogieboarding, but we did find a few good waves. Wooden walkways give easy access to other nearby beaches and it's definitely an excellent route for joggers.
